We had some anti social behavior recently, we decided to install an external camera and we are very happy about the purchase. This camera has inside memory card can which can store 3-4 days recording, it is enough length if we need to check what’s happened. The pics is high quality especially the night version. Will recommend it to my friends.

Simple to install and decent quality image. Regular software updates improve and stabilise the image. Works fine with my BlueIris setup, just setup via the cameras web browser then link it to Blue Iris and it works great.

I bought this thinking it was a cheap PTZ Dome Camera. stupidly should have read the description more clearly. even on offer its expensive for what it is IMHO. because its not a PTZ camera and the angle is fixed and is only for mounting on a ceiling and i could not be bothered sending back, i ended up using it as a second camera on my driveway, the other is near the front of the drive so there is dead spot behind that cameras view.stupidly the web app has PTZ Controls but the camera didn't move :) i had to open it up to figure out it didn't have PTZ functionality/so i am back to looking for a cheap PTZ Dome Camera. but a word of point for people complaining about wifi range. i had it connected to wifi with a wifi router using Channel 11 but when even just 2 meters away the camera would lose connection to the wifi and i was looking at why that may be, i ended switching the wifi channel to 4 and then i got plenty of range. so looks like something kooky with the cameras wireless nic.but as with all dome cameras with IR Leds within the dome there is bad IR reflection of an evening making its night usability highly suspect. but with its wide angle and in conjunction with another non wide angle camera that can be used for identification of an individual, its still decent enough so gets 3 stars****Update after a week or so usage**** The Wifi just isnt working properly all of a sudden. and i am rewarded with the following video feed quality, i am going to work on getting an ethernet cable to it. not worth returning as i now have a big hole where the camera is mounted***Further Update*** I have now connected by Ethernet and the Camera is back to performing well, however at the price i paid plus the additional ethernet costs, this has been a very expensive camera, the WiFi is so definitely a problem with this camera so i am still keeping it as 1 Star as IMHO and others its not a wifi camera.

Unfortunately this item did not switch on when plugged in nothing happened. Despite this and allowing for the fact these things happen possibly in transit the product was a high quality build. I have bought 3 genbolt cameras and the other 2 are fantastic, easy to log to phone software is easy to manoeuvre through and great quality picture with some really useful features. I have arranged through amazon to return the vandal proof camera as it disappointedly did not function. I am not put off this product and will probably reorder the item again once credited.

Good camera which connected pretty quickly to my Genius Vision NVR software once I'd got the camera video link copied down correctly.The URL is rtsp://192.168.x.x/11The /11 on the end did the trick.However, the camera has pathetic wifi and no plausible way of adding an aerial. It connected via wi-fi when in the same room as the router, but as soon as I moved it into a different room, the wi-fi could not penetrate the wall. I will deploy it elsewhere with a wired connection

Not so good, it’s supposed to be an outdoor Wi-fi camera but the signal has trouble passing through a brick wall ! I wanted to mount this on my garage...no chanceFine if you only want it for indoors but there are much cheaper cameras on the market for this purpose.I have a cheap indoor camera cost half the price which is able to communicate better than this one, also the picture is no better than the cheaper alternatives.Setting up was a bit of a struggle but most of these cams are.

I bought this to put on my garage that is at the back of the house but not attached. Great picture on camera and easy to setup. Like the way you can search the recordings by time and date. Only niggle with it is that the Wireless is not as good as cameras with external ariels. Motion detection is good you get to choose the locations of the view you wish to monitor. Have not been able to get the email alerts to work nor the ftp storage. Both look simple setups but test does not work. However nice discreet camera

Purchased and installed for friends of my parents. Very robust housing and impressed with the length of the power cable, super quick to setup. My only qualm (why i dropped a star) would be the audio function, the viewer hears audio i.e. the camera has a built in mic, it would make more sense to me for it to be the other way around that viewer could speak to the caller? Hoping it performs well and I don't get helpdesk calls!😀
