Super sharp and works great!

I didn't know what I would like or dislike in a knife. I now know this may have too many options. But! It is easy to hold, I wear a med men's glove. The quality, ease of use and storage make it a tool I'll use for years to come. Knowing what I know now, it was worth the investment.

Carving with pocket knives is not for every carver. I like the idea of whittling a small figure or ornaments on the go. I like the way this knive feels and the locking blades. I would trade the big scoop blade for a chip cutting blade. The pelican blade has a little too much flex but it slices and roll cuts nicely, just don't put a lot of pressure on it. Sharpen often with 3000 grit emery cloth and leather.

I just started whittling a month ago and I decided to get this to whittle little animals for my young kid. This is incredible sharp and well built. No hand fatigue. I'm very happy with it. Pricey, but worth it if you really want to take the hobby up a notch or have the money to blow, it starts you out fully equipped to see if you like whittling.

This lil guy changed my life. All for the better. The only caveat is that the tools can feel a little loose before applying pressure & the handle may feel wide

Love this brand for carving. I have several but wanted this one because it's easier to take with me incase I get a chance to whittle while I'm not home. I've actually been using it at home too. I didn't have a pelican blade so I've enjoyed using it.

This is a great little knife. I was expecting having to deal with some minor issues such as angles when carving and difficulty in opening some of the blades as past reviewers have mentioned. Neither of those two has been an issue. The lock back feature feels very secure, not enough is said about it either. It's a really nice feature. The strop block that's included is also a really great little extra, although I didn't need it right away because this thing comes razor sharp out of the box. The sheath is nice thick leather and fits the knife well. I'm very happy with this purchase and would definitely buy again.
