I ordered this item on 7th February and started using it as of 8th February - aesthetically, it's very pleasing and I love the braided design as it definitely means it doesn't fray or twist as easily as the standard Apple charging wires. As a charger, it functions very well and does charge my iPad noticeably faster than other chargers I've used. However, it's now 3rd April and the wire has completely stopped functioning - I've checked with different plug adapters/sockets/devices and it refuses to charge in any shape or form. This is the second of these wires that I have ever used - I think I'm going to settle for a much cheaper wire from Poundland as they pretty much will last the same duration and will be quite a bit cheaper too!UPDATE (06 -07-2017): The customer service has been nothing short of outstanding. Shortly after my review, the company were kind enough to replace the wire in a very short turnaround. I have refrained from updating my review till a few months later to ensure I tested the products properly. Both wires charge my products at a sufficient speed and the quality seems to be higher than the wire I originally bought - none of the fraying that usually occurs with the standard lightening chargers provided by Apple! I am extremely happy with the product and the brilliant customer service and would happily recommend this in the future.

I had high hopes for this item, as fare as I can see. There are not right angle bends, or obvious damage to the lead. But it does not charge anymore, inimitable chimes, indicating part connection, which then is lost without moving the lead. The IPad charges fine with IPhone original lead, so connector and plugs are fine!Having been contacted by Toways via email. They were very helpful and pointed out the item's 'Life Time Warranty'. Toways then sent me a replacement, which has arrived and working fine; also with a life time warranty. I would purchase with confidence from Toways again.

After a month using it, it works as if it was new. The size is ideal because it offers twice the distance that a normal cable would. The only negative thing of it is that some fibers of the covering are starting to get loose and that hurts the general looks of the charger. It comes with a Velcro strap to maintain the properly folded when not in use.

Was worried when I placed my order because of all the fakes on the market but it is as stated and works well with my iPad Aire and having the extra length is a bonus although not as easy to roll up like the plastic coated ones but it does have a Velcro strap on it which helps

I ordered this cable on 14 august 2018 and now on 7 april 2019 stopped working. The cable is not damaged or broken, it just didn't want to chrge anymore. It's a good cable, but worked just 9 months.

High quality metal braided outer cord which should outlast any device. The outer cord does not have the flexibility of plastic coated leads being quite stiff and not easy to tuck away so make sure you measure up the length that is appropriate to your needs

Only giving four stars has not had a decent amount of time of use yet.They look lovely great colour. Sturdy wire. Wether they stand up to the test of time, willHave to wait and see.Excellent delivery time. Very reasonable price.

Ordered two of these cables, one for the car and one for in my bedroom. They are great and sturdy cables, could possibly stay in my phone a little better (IPhone 6s) as it doesn't always take a lot to shake it loose.
