Firstly, its crafted from a strong and sturdy BPA free plastic that doesn¡¯t cause any health issues and its sturdy build means its going to last years and years, possibly forever, its that well built. Its also got a neat vent hole at the top for letting steam escape and that can be closed when you take your plate of food out of the microwave - as you are always best letting food rest for at least a minute after microwaving, the fact that the vent can be closed once you¡¯ve finished reheating means the food isn¡¯t going to cool down whilst its in its resting phase. An excellent addition to an already well designed product.
