What was very cool about this item since I needed the vehicle for electronic parking brake system it has helped me out very deeply including for certain vehicles that my old scanner would not work so with that being said I do recommend this to anybody as a starting type of scanner and it helps out with the oil change reset in a few pretty cool options now customer service help me out very good I thank them very much they told me to put up a review this is my first time putting a review and they did awesome I send them photos the issue and concern that I have with the scanner not knowing I really do need the scanner when I'm at work but this scanner has been awesome with me since my old scanner took a nose dive so I really recommend this scanner thank you to the people for this scanner and the customer support I'm hoping they get to do upgrades but with the scanner itself turn it in to get a better version that's what I'm hoping from them and that will be dope and I will wait for their email when that happens

I bought this tool because of features and pricing compared to other code readers like this one. My SRS light came on and the code reader that I currently had could not pull the code and I wanted to know what was wrong with my van before I took it into the dealership for diagnosis. I was a little leery of buying this code reader (the SC680) because the CGSULIT store and website did not list it as an offered product. I reached out to support to ask if the SC860 was a new code reader. Took a few days to get a response but turns out the SC860 is one of the newest releases.Updating the database is straightforward with their updating app. When you first update it, just download the updates you need because downloading them all takes a lot of time to download, authorize and install into the code reader. Only update the makes you need initially, it'll save you lots of time.For using, it was extremely easy. Plugged into my OBDII port, selected auto Vin, confirmed the car details, and selected scan. It went through all the tests available within the tool, it flashed the headlights, honked the horn and went through the ECU diagnostics and displayed the faults it found in each category. You select the faults and clicked on ? for thorough details of the code(s) found and what the code(s) meant.Once you read the codes and made the repair, it clears the codes for you easily. Great tool for the money.

This code scanner so far has saved me a trip to mechanic and allowed me to understand what is going on with my car, and also allows me to clear the code,which will turn the check engine light off.I was set to drive about 200 mile when my check engine light came on. I took it to an auto store and they hooked a similar product up to my car gave me the code but couldn't tell me what it meant. So I drove back home, switched cars and arrived at my destination about 2 hours later than I wanted. Turns out it was 2 old history codes and one new code letting me know my fuel sensor was acting up. I already knew my fuel sensor was dysfunctional but wasn't sure about the other 2 codes. This cost me a week without my car (due to mechanic being busy) for him to tell me I had old codes and a problem I already knew existed. So I got this code scanner.Driving home today my fuel gauge went to empty (even though i just filled my tank, not surprising) but then my check engine light came on, always giving my great anxiety. I plugged in my CGSULIT and it scanned the whole car, about 18 categories, and told me what I already knew, faulty fuel senor and nothing else. I was able to clear it using the machine, ignition on but engine not running (fancy way to say turn the key until instrument panel lights up). I used the option to clear the code and BAM, engine light goes off. The problem of my faulty sensor did not go away but I don't have to stare at the menacing check engine light wondering, "is there something major going on."For about $150 this pays for itself, saves you time, gives you instant piece of mind, and can also inform you of a major problem that needs attention ASAP.The case it comes with is great for storing in car or garage, it's small enough but still easily and nestly holds everything in place.The instruction guides you on how to use it, and it even can pick up your cars model and vin. Highly recommend to have on hand!
