Stitch dropper...
My knitting has never been the best, I end up with either dropped or extra stitches from who knows where. Having got back into french knitting recently I then discovered these looms and decided to give them a go. They work best with a thick wool - the chunkier the better and making hats has never been easier. The instructions are rather basic and just for making hats, not scarves/booties as the product details suggest, but pattern books are available if you want to branch out into something more complicated. However with the set, I have knitted up a few hats in practically no time at all and all the finishing that is required is pulling the wool together at the end and stitching or knotting it together. The 4 different sizes give a good choice, the smallest one would be a baby hat size, I have used mainly the 2 middle sized ones for ladies and children's sizes and am using the largest one for a looser knit snood/scarf. They are substantial and very well made and each pin has a deep groove in it for ease of picking up the wool with the awl provided. If you need to make lots of hats (I put them in Christmas charity shoeboxes etc.) then these are worth the very reasonable price.

good product, but check sizes of smallest hoop which makes socks more for kids
easy to use... one peg fell out but did actually slot back in....if you want to make slipper-type socks, use 2nd size lomm apart from children's use, or socks will be too tight to get around heel... am only size 6 but will use 2nd hoops if making adult's socks, as I advis you to do also unless you like very tight fit.Strong, good price and helpful of you can skin-cnditions which wool on needles might aggravate, as you handle wool differently .Fun, too - they grow quite fast!

Joining Knitters Anonymous soon!
I ordered these as a complete beginner at loom knitting and they are ideal. Lightweight and ergonomic, they're perfect and the yarn hook is wonderful with its handy grip. But, if you're just starting out and thinking of buying these, don't rely on the instructions, they're just printed on the back of the packaging and they're useless. Look up LoomAHat on YouTube instead.I was also quite miffed that they were delivered late, especially since I paid extra for it, but that's Amazon's fault, not the seller's.All in all a great item, we'll worth the money.

well made and robust looms
So pleased with these looms. They are so much more robust than I thought they would be. It's great to have 4 different sizes in the pack, plus the hook and the needle. Instructions are minimal but I watched several video tutorials on YouTube which helped a lot. I used the smallest loom to make a hat for a friend's newborn baby but it only just fitted and apparently his head was very small!

Brilliant service, but already being a knitter
Brilliant service , but already being a knitter , didn't find this a very satisfying past time , maybe for someone who has no knitting knowledge it would be ok !!

Fabulous product
I picked these up on a whim to see if I'd have better luck with loom knitting than I have with crochet or traditional knitting due to a shoulder injury. I am definitely not disappointed! If I take it easy, I don't have the same repetitive strain injuries, and I really like the amazing stuff I can make with it. Overall, definitely happy with the product. Very sturdy pegs and the hook has a nice grip handle.

Very Enjoyable to Use
Love these circle looms they are easy to use. I have made a number of hats on them. Making a flat panel is rather tricky though. Perhaps a straight loom is better for that?
