I waited a few months before giving my review! I couldn't be happier with these Grill Heat Aid oven gloves. You are able to grip your baking dishes and I love that they are long so you can't burn your arms. Gloves function as advertised--comfortable on hands, and the fact that they are reversible (i.e. each fits on either hand) is a plus. These gloves are the way to go! I love the cotton lining! I detest polyester.Grab these gloves because this price is a steal! I have been baking for 50 years and oven mitts are useless! Gone through a lot of oven gloves! These gloves are absolutely fabulous! If I don't get burned cooking a meal, then I wasn't in the kitchen! Guess what? Absolutely does not happen with these wonderful gloves! And they are so very wearable and usable!I have used the gloves for moving my Dutch oven after preheating at 500 F.I am able to move coals and wood in my Weber grill, and even the hottest racks in my gas grill and home oven.So easy to put on and off and works great.Easy to wash, just chuck them in the washing machine!Also used with my Big Green Egg that we cook on several times a week and the gloves withstand the 600 F+ degrees temps as advertised. And they are much more form fitting than most mitts, which makes for easier/safer handling.The seller SMM Group are great too. They contacted us twice ...once to thank us for the order, and again to see if we were satisfied. Wouldn't it be nice if every product worked like it's advertised, and if every seller sent gratitude and follow-up notes? Yes! It is so refreshing to have a company that actually cares about how their product is doing. I will recommend these gloves to all my friends, these gloves really live up to expectations. well worth the money, these are much better than oven mitts. I was a little concerned that they might be difficult to get on when in a rush cooking but they go on quickly and easily. they fit both my wife's small hands without any cumbersome bagginess and my somewhat longer-fingered ones without discomfort. most importantly they insulate the hands so well that hardly any warmth can be felt through them even when holding trays that have been in the oven for an extended period of time and even after you have had the tray ( or whatever else ) in your hands for quite a while without putting it down and/or letting it go. better yet they retain little heat once you have put the ovenware down so that if you touch exposed skin with the gloves even only a second or 2 later you can barely feel the heat. obviously these allow your hands much better freedom of movement and therefore grip than mitts while the long cuffs still protect your wrists. been using them a couple of weeks now and have found absolutely no downside so far.

Bought these after reading reviews, and after dropping an oven tray on the floor after getting it out of hot oven and burning myself using inadequate oven gloves. These are really good, much better than an average oven glove as you can really grip things with them. The sleeves are long enough that you don't catch your arm on hot oven shelves and they stay cool enough so that there is plenty of time from touching hot items and putting them safely on an appropriate surface. They don't totally stop the heat reaching your fingers, you just feel that the gloves are telling you to put the hot item down. Definitely a good buy.

These gloves are a little too large for my little hands but they still do the job. Got them mainly to protect my wrists catching the hot rack when reaching in over the oven door which opens down towards me. I am not very tall either so it is quite a stretch. These gloves were perfect for that and also gave me more grip and flexibility than normal oven gloves. A bonus is my husband can also use them (on the rare occasion that he cooks :-) ). Overall, quite a good buy for the price.

Absolutely fantastic! Can't praise these enough. I have used these for two winters with my wood burner and I haven't been burnt once, nor is there any sign of wear through at the finger tips. The pair that came with my stove caused me burns and burnt through the fingers within weeks. Not these. I bought the large size (no small available at that time) which are rather big for my female hands, but I turn down the cuffs and the roominess makes them easy to put on in a hurry and good for my husband to use too.They are still quite clean and never been washed.

I have had the oven gloves since last week and have had the chance to try them a few times.I have MS and have little feeling in my left arm so always struggle to put a glove on that hand. These were no different in that, but found them alittle bit difficult to keep putting on and taking off for my right hand. I hope they will loosen up a little in time.In use I appreciated the length of the cuff which made me confident of retrieving a dish from the oven without burning myself on part of the oven. The grip is firm, again useful, and they seemed fine in getting the dish to the worktop. It did seem though that after a few minutes of taking trays (of about 220 °C) in and out of the oven the heat didn't seem to be completely dispersing, and the gloves were becoming quite warm, although not hot.Overall I like them and will definitely try them with the BBQ, once the winter is over.

The long cuff is great, and the heat protection is pretty convincing. A whole Christmas of cooking with none of the usual burns! They are very big - even the smallest size is large on my large female hands. However this really doesn't interfere too much with their function. The dexterity they give is game- changing. I am using them for all sorts of tasks I never would have used an oven mitt for. A bonus is the silicone grip coating - a gift when removing stiff lids from jam jars!
