Wilton Borders Icing Piping Tip Set, 4 Pieces

I wish I could afford the entire set of this brand, because of the quality and attention to manufacturing detail and of course, the design.This year was the first year I piped cakes. I became obsessed (really obsessed) with Lambeth vintage cakes and the reverse scroll design.The cake in the photo is a Wilton tip from a pack of four, using Italian Meringue frosting, Genoise sponge (5 eggs no fat) and a load of fresh strawberries. Husband happy, I’m now free to do yet MORE DIY….lol

Needed these for decorating a birthday cake. Results were what I'd expect from the Wilton range. A*

These are a great little set, perfect for beginners and professional bakers alike as they're so easy to use. I bought this set for the number 105 tip but as I regularly use the others anyway, they're handy to have for spares or for when needing to pipe different colours in the same effect and the whole set is reasonably priced too. I much prefer the seamless piping tips and these are. The way I wash my tips is by putting them on the top rack of the dishwasher, pushed on to one of the upright plate/utensil prongs. You don't need to clean the buttercream/ganache out first and they come out spotlessly clean. By placing on a prong, this also keeps the tip in place instead of getting lost inside the machine. Obviously, washing in a dishwasher isn't necessary as they're easy enough to clean in hot soapy water - I'm just lazy!

I use these all the time. Their by far the best! Especially the 1M tip.

...kann man in Sachen Spritztüllen wohl nicht viel falsch machen, passen auch auf den entsprechenden Adapter und können somit problemlos gewechselt werden
