Q: Is this a booklet with all pages bound together or do I have to get a 3 ring binder to put the pages in? I'd like to avoid needing a 3 ring binder.

All the pages of this diver's log book are bound together. You will NOT need a separate 3-ring binder. The diver's log book also comes with punched holes to fit into a PADI 3-ring diver's log binder. I personally use the PADI 3-ring diver's log binder since it allows me to store multiple diver's log books plus other items in special pockets located on the inside of binder.

Q: How many usable pages are in this log book?

This log book has enough pages for 60 dives. It has one page for contact info and a safe diving practices page in the front. No filler here like you found in the blue diving and training log book. Hope this helps.

Q: What is padi version number for this? I'm looking for version 2.0 (rev. 11/02)

lots of pages to record your dives , BRILLIANT !! Not filled up with lots of Padi info , can record about 60 dives

Refill for the all divers

New refill log book that has been updated to include rebreather recording but at the expense of space for dive details, but hopefully enough for recording best encounters. Better format than many alternatives we have tried.

that's always a good thing in my opinion

I bought this because my log book was full, that's always a good thing in my opinion. Exactly what I wanted, has all the log pages that you get in the standard book, without the PADI open water course log pages. The only reason for 4 stars is because the description reads that it comes with the Electronic recreational dive planner, and it doesn't, it is just the book. This is find for me as I already have the eRDP, and most people who would be buying the refill pages should already have it too. PADI, please update the product description.
