Whitby Pruning Pocket Knife

Ordered through Amazon Prime as I needed a new pocket knife for my day to day work.Although *slightly* smaller than I would have thought i'm very happy with the product - well made, sharp edge and feels nice in the hand.Delivered on time as per Prime next day delivery.Well packaged.Only giving 4 stars instead as 5 as it is quite stiff to close, which I imagine will change over time due to the use. I'll amend my score to 5 if this happens.Overall a very decent little utility knife.

I wanted a general purpose knife for the garden and this is just what I wanted. Its nice to hold and despite what some reviewers have said mine was easy to open and close. When open it feels solid and well made and its small enough to carry in a pocket when I'm in the garden.All in all a nice little knife.

I really like the feel of this knife. I got it for my mushroom picking adventures and this is exactly what I was looking for. Slightly curved edge, came in sharp enough to last me a few journeys and have a very nice wooden finish. Couldn't be more satisfied. Can tell much about the steel hardness itself as haven't used it that much and it don't say on the box. Also, blade doesn't come out easily, so a child may not be able to open it, which is a good thing if you like to keep those sharp.

I’ve worked in woodlands & Gardens for 25 years, the tool I use most is the pocket knife...and I haven’t found a better one cheaper as an all rounder. No play. Positive action open/close. Holds it s edge respectably. Good tool.

Excellent little pocket knife looks smart and very handy mine has lasted a long time now and many more years of use in it.

Razor sharp, be careful the way this one closes if you are used to Taylor’s Eye Witness quality knives. Great knife for the price, much better finish than I expected for this price.

This is a very sharp easy to use knife. A bit harder to fold than open being the only niggle but at least it wont fold when in use and cut a finger off.

Great little flip out knife for the allotment. Have had for about 9 months now, used daily and is still very very sharp.
