Raspberry Pi Zero W Starter Kit

Great product ! Worked straight out the box !!

Thought I'd buy a pack that looked good and had led capabilities out of the box as that's what my project entails. had no idea what I set myself up for.Doesn't come with any assembly instructions despite comprising about 9 different parts. Google auto completed my search of pimoroni assembly instructions and even still resulted in nothing. Eventually noticed a throwaway line of "Get started by visiting" on the packaging label of the components, intelligently covered by stickers so the url cannot be read. Eventually found the url, but it only leads to the product page with no assembly instructions. Finally found a sort of cross-section photo in the last image of the sales page gallery. But alas all the components look the same, are unlabeled and have different colours to the parts in my hand. Eventually think I have it sussed only to find the case has chopped off the camera module with the pressure of being screwed in.So thanks pimoroni. Haven't even turned it on yet and it's already broken!Edit: Once I got it assembled, I attached the included Blinkt led strip. This was pretty great and started to redeem the whole purchase, however 24 hours later and the leds no longer light up. The pi runs but even if i remove the led strip from the gpio pins and re-connect it they just don't like up anymore. Worked perfectly for not much more than 24 hours.So essentially I can't use the camera port, can't use the led strip, and therefore I have no further use for this kit.

Works as expected. The LED hat supplied is super bright, great tool/package for teaching (or learning) the basics

Bought as a gift and was very well recieved

I realised this was expensive, but my expectations was a all in one kit top ket the kids started with instructions.The header was installed but end up putting the header on the wrong side, there is no information on how to get the led's working either with the hardware or software, so don't expect this to be a good kit for kids. its not even good enough for adults. I now have confused children and a confused adult with a unit that not going to be really worth fixing I may as-well have bought a single raspberry zero board and a separate case, it would have been cheaper. If I was the seller I would find all the information for your customers and post it with the unit or put it online for your customers to download.Not happy

I haven't actually got this kit but I do have all of the indiviual bits. For its size and computing power the Pi Zero W is quite versatile.I have 7 Pi zeros all doing different things with different things attached.Some of them are in the same type of case that is in this kit, which does the job of protecting the Pi. They look cool too.The Blinkt! LED strip adds a bit of fun to learning to program in python. There are a number of example python scripts that can get you started and tutorials (on the Pimoroni website).Possibly the tricky part of the kit is that you do have to solder the GPIO header yourself. If you haven't soldered before then you could look on youtube as there are bound to be some videos on soldering.

4 étoiles pour le manque de petite note simple de démarrage.Emballage extra (boîte plastique kit), adaptateurs USB et HDMI qui fonctionnent bien. Composants de qualité et finition/présentation parfaite.Par contre attention au câble rouge USB, je l'ai utilisé pour l'alimentation en le connectant à un chargeur SAMSUNG 5V 2,5 A. Il provoque des coupures intermittentes de la Raspberry...pas bon du tout. Câble défaillant ou mal compris l'usage (pas de doc).J'ai pris le câble du chargeur mobile, pas de souci.Instructions pour le montage du kit "sandwich": il faut aller sur le site Pimoroni: le lien est au dos du carton qui ceinture la boîte.Les "tranches" sont numérotées ça aide, après retrait des bandes de protection. Pas d'improvisation, voir le schéma du site, sinon on casse!Idée pour Pimoroni: au lieu de la planche de sticker pour enfants, mettez (pour un même coût de production) un dessin du montage du kit Pimoroni!BLINKT:La barette Blinkt de leds a aussi une orientation spéciale. Les connecteurs alims de la Pi Zéro étant en bas (et le GPIO en haut) , il faut pouvoir lire les lettres de la barette soit B L I N K T.Bien caler la Pi Zéro (elle est minuscule) pour éviter que les adaptateurs-câbles l'entraînent et cassent tout.Après que du bonheur, c'est magnifique et ludique à souhait avec les exemples du site.

El vendedor describe perfectamente el producto. Y cuando recibes el producto todo está muy bien empaquetado y cuidado en una pequeña caja de plástico reutilizable. Funciona a la perfección. La tira de led es muy luminosa. La tarjeta micro sd de 8 Gb se me hizo corta pero es un detalle que venga pre-cargada. Volvería a comprarla.

Raspberry Pi zero W, Hülle und Adapter funktionieren prächtig, aber leider ist die SD-Karte und die Blinkt!-Leiste nicht funktionstüchtig.Da 3/5 Sachen funktionieren gibts 3/5 Sterne

Sappiamo che i Raspberry costano davvero poco, il grosso del prezzo di norma lo fanno gli accessori, che incidono per la maggior parte. Sta quindi all'acquirente valutare in base alle proprie necessità.Su questo kit posso solo fare solo dei piccoli appunti personali (con il senno di poi):1- per usare la striscia led bisogna munirsi di saldatore (va saldato il connettore maschio da 40 poli sulla board)2 - l'adattatore mini HDMI -> HDMI è quasi superfluo, poiché è molto semplice procedere ad un'installazione del sistema operativo totalmente headless (senza bisogno di monitor). Io ad esempio ho usato Dietpi, ma anche con un Raspbian liscio la procedura è facile.3 - il case non permette una facile estrazione od inserimento della micro sd, può essere un piccolo fastidio specie per le prime volte quando si armeggia di più con varie prove.Per il resto tutto ok:1 - il case ha il connettore GPIO liberamente accessibile2 - i led sono facilmente programmabili in python con molti esempi già pronti3 - il consumo elettrico è irrisorio come pure il calore generato4 - presenza di bluetooth e wifi integrati5 - utile anche il cavo USB OTG per collegare ad esempio una chiavetta

商品自体は試験、体験が出来ていません。日本語マニアルが付いているから簡単に組み立てが出来たとの評価をみて購入しましたが、マニアルがなく問い合わせしたところ、該販売元の商品には付いていないとの回答でした。販売元へ問い合わせ後に急遽、日本語マニアルに関してコメントが追記されました。不思議な事に、購入の決めてとなった、日本語マニアルが付いているから簡単に出来たとの評価が削除されているようです。
