NEW - Vibramate String Spoiler For Bigsby, Polished Stainless Steel, Install strings on your Bigsby Vibrato in seconds! The Vibramate String Spoiler is an ingenious little bracket designed to fit right onto your existing Bigsby vibrato without any modifications or special tools. It easily slips right into place and is held in position by the tension of the strings when tuned to pitch. The Spoiler makes string changes so easy you'll wonder how you ever lived without it. No more need for wrapping the strings around and under the vibrato roller with needle-nose pliers in an attempt to get the ball onto that little pin. Now your strings will drop right into place in seconds with the Vibramate String Spoiler! The Vibramate String Spoiler is designed to maintain the same smooth operation and feel of the classic Bigsby vibrato and may even increase the potential range of pitch bending. The fulcrum position eliminates unwanted radial strain to the ball end string wrap. Manufactured by UEC/Vibrate in the USA!

Easier string changes, but may introduce other issues
The Vibramate String Spoiler does make it easier to change strings on a Bigsby, but because the string ball ends drop into slots, there is still a tendency for the ball end to fall out of the slot before the string is fully wound onto the tuning post and up to tension. If the String Spoiler had holes to feed the string through, rather than slots, this would not happen. It is held in place on the Bigsby roller by string tension so there is always the possibility of a shift in alignment between the spoiler and the Bigsby roller when the Bigsby is used, which may affect tuning stability. My current preference is to have the bridge and string anchor components mechanically locked down, rather than rely on string tension to hold things in place.I also had some odd issues with using the Reverend low pressure spring with light gauge strings where the spoiler stuck up at an odd angle.

ball end strings don't look very nice when fitted in the slot
ball end strings don't look very nice when fitted in the slot, bullet end strings have very few choices in type of string

Should be on every Bigsby!
Great idea, a little tricky to fit depending on your model of Bigsby-mine's a "licensed" B7 and I had to remove it from the body to get the pins located. However once on, it's quick to restring and tune and doesn't seem to make a difference to tone.
