Purchased for use with my cast-iron pans. Right out of the package they were a little big to fit on the handles, including the handles of my 10 and 12 inch skillet. Threw them in the washing machine and the dryer on medium heat and they shrunk up and are now the perfect size. They still provide me with a good grip on the panhandle and so far has held up well and kept me from burns the few times I’ve used them. Long-term durability remains to be seen, will update after using for a while.

I really only need these for my cast iron skillets and they work well. I still use oven mitts just in case, though. It's nice that they came in a three pack although I'll never need to use all three at once. My whole kitchen has a grey lattice/trellis theme so this matches well.

These are perfect and just what i was looking for. I ordered them to put them on my cast iron when I cook in in so no one accidentally gets burned. They fit perfect and also fit nicely on my other pots and pans. I can still grip the pot/pan just fine without any problems. I will give one to my daughter since they come in a packet of 3. Have not washed them yet so I don't know how they wash up but the material seems durable and they are well made.

Recently moved and went from a gas stove to a glass stove. This meant that my previously stable cast iron pans would freely rotate when I was stirring whatever I was cooking. My mom has something similar for her cast iron but these compliment the color of my kitchen, are easy to slip on the pans handle and sufficiently protect my hand so I don’t burn it when cooking. Much easier than using a pot holder to hold the cast iron pan.

Put on the handle of the skillet while it was on low, on the center of the burner. It wasn’t even close to the flame, but suddenly we smelled smoke and turned around to find the holder on fire.

Better then i expected, well made works perfectly on my copper pans. I wish they where longer but they are big enough to grab with out being burned.

This is an important item to have in your kitchen. Prevents burns.

I bought these for my tea kettle and they work great! I also like the pattern!
