Best cat litter box. Easy to clean, less odor smell , two boxes for $75

Hands down, this is the best litter box ever designed and I don’t make this statement lightly. I’ve owned cats my entire life and have tried a myriad of litter box styles and litter variations. The worst litter box by far was a first generation of those automated self-cleaning boxes. My husband and I even resorted to a giant Rubbermaid container for awhile but that was a pain to clean… kept the cat from peeing on the wall though. This box is still going strong. It doesn’t reek and litter still doesn’t stick. It’s a breeze to scoop and clean. We use it in combination with natural wood clumping litter pellets and our life has changed. There is no more nasty cat box stink. Our house just smells like house. Not house and cat pee. Recently we were visiting relatives out of town and had to bring our cats along. I brought our litter and an inexpensive throw-away plastic pan. By the end of four days, our cats managed to claw deep grooves into the plastic and it stunk like holy hell. This box is great. No grooves for bacteria growth. I highly recommend this litter box.Initial Review: We have two very large/long tuxedo cats at 18 & 16 lbs. Their previous litter box was just a pan inside a larger bench-style enclosure. I usually opt for a cheap pan because we can toss it and buy a new one when it gets nasty. That being said, our cats can tear up a cheap litter pan fast—one likes to dig for pirate treasure and scratches the bottom up. The other likes to pee in the corners, and we all know how hard it is to scrape clumped cat pee out of the edges of a litter pan. Then the clumps stick to the scratched bottom and the whole thing smells like “Hot Litter Pan Death” until you buy a new one.I was initially hesitant at the price of this pan, but honestly, if it would help at all then it’s a win. The litter pan is a very good size. Our cats kicked much less litter outside the box. It’s larger than many of the other litter pans available, as it *just* fits the enclosure we have. The upper part is a rougher material and the bottom/lower sides are super slick. There is a fill line along the side, so pay attention when you dump the litter inside. My husband didn’t initially see the line and almost dumped in a full box of litter. The pan is heavy duty and not flimsier plastic, our digger dug away and we’ve seen no scratches so far. It was remarkably easy and fast to scoop, and the litter clumps didn’t stick at all! It helps that the edges are rounded so there were no corner or edge pee clumps to battle. So far we’re cautiously optimistic since we haven’t owned it long. Time will tell how well this litter pan works, but it’s great so far.

Right off the bat, this is NOT non stick at all. I have to constantly scrap at the bottom of the box to get off the litter that has sunk to the bottom covered in pee. Maybe it's because my cats are diggers, maybe they are peeing ON the box and then burying it but regardless of WHY it is not a nonstick box. Now that being said, I don't care about that. I didn't buy it for it's non stick properties. I bought it for the SIZE. As you can see my cats are pretty large. Tag Along (the one not in the cat box) will never honestly get less that 12/13lbs because he is LARGE (we think he has some Maine coon in him and the vet has been very clear that he should not get too "average" cat size) and Delta (the girl in the box) is overweight and we are working on getting her to lose weight. They are also both pretty long, and they are AGGRESSIVE cover uppers. The regular cat boxes that I had they were flinging cat litter out everywhere, Delta was accidentally peeing over the edge of the box because it wasn't high enough and she likes to back up as far as she can in the box and they were climbing back and forth between the two in order to stop the other from using them. These boxes stopped ALL of that (although sometimes Delta flings kitty litter out the front step in portion at Tag Along when he's trying to lick her face while she does her business beacuse he doesn't understand boundaries) It holds a TON of litter and so I can scoop it twice a day and not feel like I have to keep topping it up constantly. I know stainless steal would have been better, but these were more cost effective. One stainless steal in the size I needed cost the price of this that came with two combined.

I have two large cats that don’t share well , I’ve gone thru several litter boxes.., they kick litter out, higher sides they can’t get in and out well and flip the box , covered ones they don’t like because they can’t move around, most are flimsy plastic that seem like the bottom will fall out with the next acidic pee.So I bought these high sided but one lower side for my cats. They are sturdy HARD plastic , finally! Big enough they enjoy digging and haven’t tipped it or kicked litter out. The non stick surface was secondary for me because I use Slide litter. While in the hospital my kids cared for my cats and purchased a cheaper clumping litter that stuck so bad to my old litter box, it was mush but I had a whole bag of it. Used it in this new box and it dumped out easily, all of it and it was pretty messy when I dumped it too since I’ve been ill and not as fastidious in keeping up my cat care. Highly recommend.

Great size

I bought this box because it was the size I needed and didn’t pay attention to the pet-safe coating feature, but WOW, this coating makes a difference. Our previous boxes always had a permanent visible dustiness to them unless they were wet, and this box wipes out so cleanly.

It's a larger than normal litter box. My Tortie appears happy with it's size. Easy to clean.
