This plug really needs copper tape to ensure continuity with the drain wire in STP.It isn't designed for it but in a pinch it will fit very, very, verry snugly on cat6a.

When we moved into our new house none of the cat five's in the junction box were working after testing a few i noticed they were all punched down incorrectly. I decided to recap them all. These are great to work with. Takes a little practice but once you get it its fun to make your own patch cords. Watch youtube videos on how to make RJ45 and just follow the process. Makes nice and tight clean looking RJ45s.

I have bought these twice now and they are a little hard to work with initially but once you get the hang of it they actually do work quite well, and look great. Just a little hard to finagal the wires in when using CAT6 but it is possible.

I give this a 5 out of 5 star rating. I used them to replace the bad plugs to this new one. No need to throw or buy new cables again. Works really good on my network. Compatible with Category 5e and 6 Ethernet cables. Crimping tool required.

A little difficult to insert the cable but with practise you can achieve a nice connection. Would be nice if the cable entry was made for 0.8mm

Good bulk price. Plastic Seems cheaper than named brands.

Haven't used them yet but they look like standard modular plugs.

Am very happy with these! They crimp very tight and stay snug when inserted into a jack.
