I've had Fantastic Fans in all our various RVs. We just bought a 2023 Class C - it came with a wimpy (IMO) vent fan, so I had yet another FF installed. I've done a few myself, but old age says I shouldn't be crawling around on RV roofs anymore; I left that job to my favorite RV repairman. They install easily. I REALLY love the remote control! Being able to adjust the fan speed as the evening cools, from the warmth of my bed, is worth the extra cost for the remote. The rain sensor is a moot point because I prefer to install a vent cover over the fans so they can be used in a downpour if needed. If you are looking for the "white noise" of a fan to mask outside noises - this is NOT your fan - it's darn near silent.

Received yesterday, Cut hole in the roof of my van, installed and the fan does not work. Not even a wiggle. Removed the fan from the housing. Found that one lead on the fuse housing was not connected. Re-assembled and connected power and everything is now functional. I can be a happy and cool camper !Side note: black and white wires to power the fan.Black = Positive (Red)White = Negative (Black)

... just wish it was more reasonably priced. Drops into place perfectly. Super quiet when running. Fast & quiet opening & closing. Saving up to get another one for the kitchen.

This is a great product. My wife had to get her step out operate our original Fan-tastic and needed a new one in the bathroom in our RV so was a no brainer to go with the remote control fan. Swap out was easy just watched a couple YouTube videos and took my time. I ordered dicor self-leveling sealant and butyl tape with fan so had everything I needed. Wife loves this new fan east for her use and all variable fan speeds and temp setting on remote are great. Yes would recommended this to a friend and buy again.

This is absolutely the worst ventilation fan that you can purchase. I'd rather buy a $100 Chinese knockoff. It would give you more features. Let me explain the problems. You can't manually adjust how much the fan opens with the remote control. If you turn it on, it goes to maximum speed and maximum open, or maximum closed if you turn it off. There's no precision control over this fan. Also, there is significant light bleed from the plastic dome, which isn't necessarily a problem, but it's something to consider. But the lack of controls is insane. Additionally, there are no on/off controls on the fan itself. You must operate it with the remote control. Such a bad design and poor user experience.

Replaced the basic factory install Maxx fan with this and WOW! it’s incredible. I didn’t do the install, but it looked pretty straightforward and quick. Thrilled to have a better fan!

The plastic (cheap) holders on the lid broke in the first week of use. It took four emails to Dometic to resolve the warranty issue. It is now five weeks and the replacement lid has not arrived. Where oh where has Fantastic Fan gone.
