It works great and without problem but it’s feels feels kinda cheap since the connectors themselves that hold it in the tv are made of plastic. No issues yet so i guess we’ll see how long they last. But at this price for these I’m not gonna complain too much as they work perfect.

The connector on this was a few thousandths bigger than my NAD receiver wanted to accept. It worked, but I really had to cram it hard into the socket. It could possibly be NAD's problem, but my previous (shorter) cable exhibited no such problem. BTW yes the gold is pretty but I'm pretty sure it has no advantage on an optical cable.

This cable arrived and it was obvious right out of the package it was a quality product. The cable worked just fine, but the feel of material was strong and it seemed really well put together.

Very good quality digital audio cable. I bought this product to replace a simple fiber optic cable I received with a sound bar for a flat screen I had also purchased. What a difference in quality! Much better!

Used this cord for less than a year before it was defective. After hours of troubleshooting my tv and soundbar, the root issue ended up being a bad optical cable. The saying, "you get what you pay for" in the case is a hard pill to swallow considering it comes highly recommended by Amazon. Had to buy a new brand cord and my tv viewing experience suffered all throughout watching NFL playoffs because of it. Will never purchase this item again despite its "gold plated fiber cable" and would not recommend anyone else to unless collecting completely useless paracords in your spare time is your thing.

Does not affix securely to a Vizio sound bar. The connector is too large and keeps falling out
