Bam! Now my New Computer Monitor AND my TV are hooked up to my computer and split screen. My video card had 2 thunderbolt ports, but only 1 HDMI port, so I had to make a sophies choice of which one I wanted working... For 2 days I struggled with the problem, until my adaptor arrived via Prime. Plugged it in and Hooked up the monitor and the TV and haven't looked back since. It's been awesome, and I would totally recommend this as a simple fix for anyone in a similar situation. Took NO additional figuring, and my video card automatically recognized that I had 2 "monitors" hooked up. Took about 2 minutes to adjust the resolution and I was back to work.

Ive had it for about a week and it doesnt work anymore. You get what you pay for.

Ordered three of these and they worked great, for a while. One of them stopped working after 3 months.

UPDATE - THEY FULLY REFUNDED ME SO I GUESS IT'S WORTH THE PRICE IF IT WORKS....This cord could not connect a Samsung monitor to a Macbook Air - DO NOT PURCHASE - spend the extra money on an official Apple conversion cord so you do not have to go through the hassel I did

Works flawlessly. Save my day as I was switching to a new laptop and Thinkpad only has a mini displayport available.

I only had this cord for a few months and it broke. The piece that goes into the MacBook broke off

I love this thing! I can finally watch movies from my laptop to my 60" tv screen.
