Perfect for dividing up notes.
I am using these along with pre-punched index cards and they work fantastic, even though I have to self punch them. They are sized just right to fit the main part of the cards and hold up to marker with a heavy hand.

Durable - will last forever.
I am using this with 4x6 cards in a storage box for my garden seed envelopes. This is a condition of being handled with dirty hands and possibly getting wet. They are great for this application or any other where there will be a lot of use and abuse.

I like the colors and weight of the cards. It is also nice that they are lined so that I can make note of what's in each section.

Nice and "as expected"
Bought this in preference to the heavier and plasticized one that are pre-labeled. I really like that there are so many cards... I'm taking a Spanish course and will use it to separate cards by topic.

Yes! These are indeed index cards!
I think a few weeks ago, I purchased what I thought were index cards, and when they arrived, they were so paper thin that they were useless for my purpose of using them in an index card file. I thought of strengthening them by adding a plain index card but to my dismay, the tabs were so flimsy it ended up not working at all. So if you are looking for truly index cards that are sturdy, colorful, and tabbed, these are the ones for you.
