Q: With two syrups hooked up can you still dispense plain carbonated water?

yes, as long as one of the valves is carbonated you can get just plain soda water. If one of the valves is non carbonated, then you can get just plain water. So if you get the 2 flavor and get one carbonated and one non carbonated, like cola and iced tea for example, you'll also have the option for plain soda water and plain water. If both flavors are carbonated, then you'll have plain soda water but not plain water... and vice versa. If you buy a unit from us you can choose how many carbonated and non carbonated you'd like

Q: So the lines for the syrup come out of the machine I. Back and can go under counter?

Yes. Where the syrups go can depend on your set up. Some put the syrup under their counter, some will have a shelf either to the side or above, some will even run a line to their basement or in the room behind the unit. The syrup line can go some distance if needed.

Q: Can I add a carbonater to this instead of using co2

I'm not sure what you are asking. A carbonator is what mixes the CO2 with the water. The units come with a carbonator but the CO2 gas is still required as it needs the gas in order to mix into the water via the carbonator. It's possible I'm not understanding your question though.

Q: Can you lock this with a key

I'm not sure what you are trying to lock... the unit's box or the use of the soda in general? I'm sure the top could be locked if you want to prevent the top from opening if you want to look into a custom design. However, if you are looking to prevent the use of it (dispensing syrup), then the only option you may have is to put it in a cabinet. If you go that route, be sure the cabinet is well ventilated though as this is a refrigeration unit and will need the air flow.
