Maybe one of the best dynamic mics I've used so far!
First, this is a Dynamic Mic. I was concerned as one of the reviewers said there were better options available, but then mentioned the AT2020. The AT2020 is a condenser mic. Condenser Mics and Dynamic Mics are different in a lot of ways. Condenser mics are typically very sensitive to all the sound in a room and will have a tendency to pick up a lot of background noises. Dynamic Mics will eliminate some of the background noises in a room, but you really have to be close to them and talk directly at them. I work in a basement and there are a lot of floor creeks, furnace noises and even running water noises going through the pipes. Because of this I typically use Dynamic Mics. This mic picks up the full range of my voice and really gives you a booming DJ voice without picking up all the background noise. It seems very well built and the boom is nice too. All of the flexible joints on the boom can be adjusted for stiffness as well. I'm very impressed!

The AT2020+ USB sounds and looks better. Kit is nice, mic boom arm is a bit stiff
