I've only had this a few days.So far, I like the display. It's bright enough to read in the daytime but not too bright for night driving.We'll see how well the actual charger holds up over time.

It does the job

This device gives USB charging (in your car) while not using up your car's lighter socket. This is because this device contains its own "lighter socket" that works as an extension to the lighter socket that you plug this device into.This was very handy to me, as I not only needed USB charging, but my car also came with just a single lighter socket. So if I used a traditional lighter socket to USB charging device, my only lighter socket would be unavailable for any other purpose. This is actually how I used to run the car (i.e. get USB but lose the lighter socket), but I recently purchased a "backup camera" who's display is designed to plug into (and get power from) the car's lighter socket. So I decided to purchase this device to "have my cake, and eat it too". This device allows me to keep the USB charging (which I've gotten used to) and also have a free "lighter socket" to power the "backup camera" display.I suspect this device would be useful to others with similar situations (i.e. if/when you need both USB charging and to keep the car's lighter socket for some other device to use).

Fits in my Audi q7 nice and however the voltage is 14.9 - 15.1 V at all time for some reason
