Whispering Pines Sportswear 4 Panel Large Bill Flap Hat

I spend a lot of time in the sun and my wife was growing concerned about the effect on my skin health, particularly on the back of my neck, despite the fact that i use sunscreen. Ordinarily I don't like hats, but this one was quite light and comfortable. I like the way the brim adjusts easily, and the drawstring keeps it secure on my head even in the wind. I had picked up a couple of other similar flap hats to try them out, and I like this one best. Unlike some of the others, which just had a brim as wide as the head, this one's brim is wider, and you can easily adjust its shape so it is just right for prevailing conditions.

I bought this hat for 3.24 plus 3.99 shipping. I also bought the JFH group hat for 6.99 same shipping cost. although the tags were different they were exactly the same hats. both fit well and have a stretchy lining to keep it on in the wind. they have a nice wide brim thats made of a thin but pliable foam. I roll it up and put it in my cargo shorts and throw it in the washer and drier when it gets dirty and the brim holds its shape. I work in the hot sun all day. soaking the hat with water and throwing it on feels like I'm in the cool air when the wind blows past the flap hanging down the back. love it!

Best price on this style hat. Getting ready to order another in the olive. I have skin cancer bad and am an outdoor guy with indoor skin. I use these when working on my 12 acres, fishing, hunting anytime I'm outdoors. Love the fit. And keeps sun of head, kneck, ears and face. Buy 2 for the price. I recommend to anyone who spends time outdoors. I'm 5'11" 200lbs athletic build and average head.

Unlike some other hats, the brim is not saggy. The tie cord clamp doesn't have a very strong grip so it could use a chin strap but it holds up to the wind OK. A great value (at least at the time I purchased). I'm not sure why the Amazon review option makes you first declare how the product fits, if someone buys the wrong size hat that's their own fault, especially if it's adjustable.

I have a larger than average head but not NFL lineman size or anything. This is really meant for small headed people. I ended up cutting the elastic at the back of the headband. Now it fits OK and it still stays on. For the $7.23 price I paid, I am fine doing this to make it work. The cost and good coverage on the neck make this a good buy.

the hat fully covers you from the hot sun, it is lightweight and very comfortable. doesnt feel heavy on my head. and i have noticed that i dont sweat as much from this hat. i believe it is the lightweight fabric of the hat that helps. i work outside in the heat alot and this hat is far better for working outside than the other hats i have tried. great price, great hat

I have bought these hats for my workplace, I’m in the construction business and most of my workers work under the sun and since where were are is a tropical country.. it gets hot most of the times, so it keeps my workers cool and away from sun burnt necks and faces👍🏻

I like this hat because it's simple. Still, I had to use a hat stretcher for this thing and it works fine now. If you wear it everyday like me, spray it with a water proof spray. Why? Because soon you will begin to sweat stains on the top of this hat and then you will look RIDICULOUS.
