Great piece of kit for car fault finding
This is truly an excellent piece of kit and has quickly proven its value. I bought it to scan my Volkswagen Golf as I need to change my brakes and there is a feature that allows me to unlock the automatic brakes. I have also used it on my friend’s BMW, and it uncovered faults that he didn’t even know without the dashboard warnings, a faulty brake vacuum pressure sensor. These were minor issues that were easily resolved with basic fixes. Without this scanner, I wouldn’t have been able to detect the problem. It accurately diagnosed the issue and allowed me to clear the fault codes with no trouble at all. Everything is now working perfectly. One of the standout features of this device is it offers a range of functions that are incredibly useful for servicing work. For instance, I can unlock the automatic handbrake when changing brake discs, check the battery voltage, access live data, perform DPF cleaning, and even carry out brake bleeding. These are features you’d typically find in high-end, expensive OBD readers, but the Topdon offers them at a fraction of the cost.Another big reason I chose this model over other brands is that it provides free software updates. Many other brands charge an annual subscription fee for updates, which can add up over time. With the Topdon, I don’t have to worry about those extra costs, making it an even better investment. On top of that, the large, user-friendly screen makes navigating through menus and reading fault codes incredibly simple and straightforward.Would recommend to anyone who is a DIY enthusiast car mechanic.

great bit of kit
The AD600S is a great bit of kit. After a friend helped me out with his AD500 model, I decided to treat myself and ordered the AD600S. I am not dissapointed, it`s easy to use, does what it`s supposed to and feels really good quality. The software guides the user from switching on, so fault finding and clearing is a breeze. The size is just right and the screen is very clear to read. I had heard a lot about the Topdon range, I`m pleased to say it was all good recommendations

Easy to use and at a great price.
Absolutely brilliant tool, needed a tool that could do an electronic parking brake service and this can do that and then some. Super easy to use and with free updates is a fantastic value for money. Why did you choose this product over others?:Cost was only just more than the previous model and has so many more features, very easy to use.

Good bit of kit
Was having a nightmare sorting out faults with my 2015 peugeot 3008, this machine read the codes on abs,esp and handbrake fault and told me what the issues were, new speed sensor fitted and all sorted, also showed up a faulty cam sensor that was giving issues on vehicle starting, changed and now no faults. Worth the money so far

ArtiDiag600 S OBD2 Scanner
Having looked at many units over many weeks, this ArtiDiag600 S OBD2 Scanner in my book came up ahead of many others. The purchase was made and in record time it was delivered.Removing the unit from its box I found the unit in its own very handy and protective carry case, its size is small for the complexity of the unit (see photos). Coming with a small User Guide proving easy to follow instructions with a QR code to obtain the full manual on line. The user manual for this unit was easier to follow than user manuals for similar items. Easy to follow step by step instructions made my first activation of the unit simple indeed.First connecting it to a charge source to fully charge its internal battery, then connect to the internet to update the dozens of vehicles applications within the unit. That did take some time but worth the wait.Complex as the unit is, even for an octogenarean like myself, it proved easy to use, easy to find codes, read and clear these issues. An excellent item to have in the toolbox and fantastic value for money.

Great machine it diagnosed a fault on my Trafic van and i had it running again within an hour
Very nice budget friendly diagnostics machine. My van would not start and i had the dreaded engine management light on so i purchased the Topdon ArtiDiag 600s, it done everything i needed it to and diagnosed my fault to fuel pressure sensor and once i looked closely i saw a broken wire going to it so i repaired that and my van started straight up again. It has a nice clear crisp screen and is very responsive. No Bluetooth but does have WIFI. I looked through the list of cars and everything is there even Bugatti and Bentley. I would highly recommend this machine one of my best purchases this year so far :)

Not compatible with my vehicle despite claiming to be.
I bought this as an upgrade from my current code reader. I have a Manual Renault scenic IV which this claims to be compatible with. I have downloaded every possible update, firmware etc for my vehicle and it still will not work. The system is under the impression that my vehicle is an automatic when it isn't. Even though I keep selecting that it is a manual vehicle. So it keeps throwing up faults that the automatic gear box isnt responding etc (which the vehicle doesn't have so of course it won't respond). So I'm getting false readings.I thought it was just user error so I asked my trusted local garage to take a look for me and he's also said that despite claiming to be compatible with my vehicle it clearly isn't. He's plugged my car in with his code reader and there aren't any faults showing at all. Whereas there are dozens with this one as it thinks my car is an automatic 🙄.After trying for 2 days to figure it out between myself and a trained mechanic I've called it quits and returned it. Ordered a far cheaper code reader and that one is working perfectly. You also have to constantly I put your VIN number at every step. Sometimes it will automatically read it, but 9 times out of 10 you have to input it manually yourself and it is tedious work. Never had a code reader like it. It's not very user friendly sadly and you have to be connected to WiFi etc. It is also very light and feels quite cheap made for the price.
