TIGICatwalk Curl Collection Curlesque Defining Shampoo, 10.14 Ounce

Great combo with other Catwalk Curlesque products. I am so very satisfied with other Catwalk Curlesque products that when I ran out of shampoo I decided to give this one a try. The result is very nice! When I step out of the shower after having washed my hair with this product (no conditioner) ringlets are already starting to form up.I have hair that is kind of on the thin side and permed. No color. I started out using TIGI Catwalk Curls Rock Amplifier, 5.07 Oz. I used it alone, and it had a kind of greasy feel to it but did a better job than your average mousse. When it ran out, I started reading reviews from other Catwalk users. On the suggestion of one user, I purchased and started using the TIGI Catwalk Strong Hold Mousse for Unisex, 6.7 Ounce and the Tigi Catwalk Curlesque Defining Serum, 3.04 Ounce as well. While this may seem like a lot of gunk to put on your hair, as a combo recipe they work great! I use a 3 inch ball of the mousse first and spread it thinly through my freshly washed hair. Then, I squeeze out a SMALL amount of the amplifier into the palm of my hand along with one squirt of the serum. I mix these together on the palms of my hand and then mix lightly into my hair. When this happens, the curls POP! Out. I have about shoulder length hair, if you had long hair you would use a little more, and if you had short hair you would use a little less. I either air dry my hair or turn my head upside down and blow dry it about 1/2 of the way with a hair dryer. Either way, I continue to air dry my hair until it is mostly dry. Then, I turn my head upside down and gently tease the curls toward the top of my head with my fingers. When my hair is basically pointed up, I turn my head right side up in the curls are flying all over the place. I can then place them where I want them to be and leave the house confident that I am looking great!So, YAY for catwalk! I love their products, and I get all kinds of compliments.

I like Tigi products but first time using product i was not impressed. I felt like the shampoo was watered down. Very runny and not much lather. I did read reviews on the shampoo but didn’t expect it to drip thru my fingers before I put on my hair. Probably not going to by again.

It is very thin and when you pour it a lot comes out quickly. So you have to be careful. I have not ever had a shampoo that was so thin.

At first this product was disappointing -- it is thin as it comes out of the bottle and doesn't make a lot of suds. But I kept using it and started to see results! My white hair is moderately curly and fine and has a tendency to fall out. (Thank goodness it's also thick!) Curlesque does a great job managing and enhancing the curls. Even better, it does it gently enough that I have stopped losing so much hair! I call that a win-win situation! Thanks, Curlesque.

After a wash, the curls of my hair already seemed definite and shiny, which is great news. I have had a fair share struggle with my hair prior to the usage of this shampoo. The shampoo brings my mane(at least) to order. I must also mention that this shampoo worked much, much better on my hair than the previous version of Tigi's catwalk for curly hair (http://www.amazon.com/Tigi-Catwalk-Curls-Curly-Shampoo/dp/B000H29FRA/ref=pd_sim_bt_3?ie=UTF8&refRID=0SNY4GXXY3RYZCP0ZEM50).Definitely would recommend the conditioner to prolong the solid effect by at least a couple of days.

This shampoo is very watery and doesn’t suds up at all. It’s like pouring water on your hair. And it doesn’t smell good either, very strong. I couldn’t find the kind I’ve used for years that’s the Catwalk Curls shampoo, this is not the same if you’re wondering.

I love the smell however the combination of these products tangles hair, badly. and with curly hair tangles is one thing you do not want
