Was hoping that if I spent the extra money on a nice pair of nippers they would work flawlessly but I usually end up using my super cheap pair of no name nippers more often. For some reason when I hold them on one side they seem to cut better then if I turn them around to the other side.I have only used them for thin tippett and from day one just didn't cut well.Overall feel looks nice and well crafted just doesn't cut like I'd hoped.

Disappointed
Nice heavy feel, but doesn't cut as well as my $5.00 nippers. Loon Outdoors makes some great products, too bad that this isn't one of them.

Its a great tool, but not worth the expense
Its a great tool, but not worth the expense.I had to ground the nipper part flush and sharpen them. My kid can't really snip 4x with it, they are ment for man hands for sure.Still slick piece of tac, cheeper would work just as good.

Great nipper
Heavy duty nip with good bottle opener. Hook eye cleaner would be difficult to use. Has replaceable blades.

Sturdy but could have some improvements
Sturdy but requires far to much pressure to nip line. They don't seem as sharp as I would like.

Very well made, works as anticipated, razor sharp, light weight. Would recommend to any fly fisherman or standard fisherman. Those that have bottled drinks will also benefit from the opener.
