lost 11 lbs in 6 weeks. The book was a nice read that was part of keeping me motivated.
I'm a senior who uses a cane. Obviously I can't power walk. The book doesn't assume everyone can. It was an enjoyable read. A small section daily, was part of keeping me motivated to do what I can. Very common sense. Helpful advice and resource suggestions.

The Most Simplest and Practical Fitness book ever!
WOW! This is a fantastic book.Most people underestimate the power of walking as an exercise. Even those who know it is one of the best form of exercise do not know how to properly utilize it. This book covers every aspect an individual needs to consider regardless of whether he/she is a novice or an experienced walker/hiker. However, if one thinks this book is a one-time read that would be a mistake. This book should be used a reference guide as one goes through their Walking fitness program.

A guide to healthful living
Since reading this book, I’ve learned there are various ways to use walking as an effective means of weight loss. I’ve also learned about “Rucking” - had no idea it was a “thing” until I was knee deep in the chapters.Overall, this is not a book you read and set aside; it’s more of a companion guide on your weight loss journey! It’s worth looking into.

Thorough approach to walking for health but also enjoyment.
Great read, and very motivating - Healthfit obviously know what they are talking about! I also really liked the 'weekly walking log' and 'daily walking journal' on pages 154/5 - big printout versions of these would be super-useful for me. New year is just around the corner, and I am now ready to go for it!
