Nice
Does what it is made for. It's big so won't fit in most bags. Good for 2x10,2x12. Stairs. I'd say most people should stick with a smaller one. Just flip a 8" over. But it looks good on my shop wall.

Works / OK Finish
Like all the features and is easy to use and read but the finish on the cutouts are pretty rough. Not that it hinders use just ugly and rough to the touch in the grooves.

It's a great but filthy.
Nice product. Problem is that it arrived filthy and scratched. Looks like it was on the wearhouse floor for months. Come on people you have to do better!

Better than at big box stores
The main difference from the Empire is a wider side guide making it easier to hold right when cutting, and the pivot point indentation.Has pitch to angle conversion chart.Update: after working with it a bit more I can say it is manufactured far better without sharp edges, surface treatment allows to slide less. Much, much better product! Love it!

It's a good square BUT the numbers and lines are only printed on the square which means they will wear off over time
