I added this product to my hair care routine & it has helped with an irritable/itchy scalp. Would recommend it if you are experiencing anything like that. It's kinda expensive but I don't use too much each time & it will probably last a while

I have used Davine's products for at least 5 years now (I started with their sea salt spray which is wonderful for curl definition but very hard to find these day) so when I saw this elevating scalp recovery treatment I know that I needed to try it.I have so many hair concerns I don't even know where to start. My hair is thin, it gets brittle, flat, it's very frizzy during colder months of the year and on and on. All that being said, it is very hard to find a product that adresses those issues while keeping my strands looking hydrated and refreshed all year round. I had been looking for something to address all of those issues and it seems how stumbled upon something promising!I immediately liked the easy application bottle of this spray with the extended nozzle. For application, basically I just hold different areas of my hair up in the air and spray this directly on my scalp. It feels good As far as working? I would say that it does.I applying it directly to the roots I am giving my hair fighting chance of having plenty of volume while not overdoing it with multiple product. This is what I needed to have healthy looking hair year round.Will continue to use and update this review if there are any negative or positive side effects that I have not already mentioned that I may see later.

I have an itchy scalp and some hair products exacerbate my dryness and discomfort. This treatment provides instant relief and refreshes my roots at the same time! I love the scent and the sensation of the product on my scalp. Over time, I've noticed fewer flakes than normal too! I'll definitely buy more when I run out.

Do your box braids make your scalp itch? Are you slapping yourself in the head because your sew in is itchy and you can't reach underneath your wefts? Then get this. Yes, I know it's $40 for a tiny little bottle, but you don't need a lot. I also understand that you can get a $4.95 bottle of "braid spray" or "braid oil" from the weave store, but you'll still be patting your head or scratching like you've got headlice. This stuff is FANTASTIC for itchy braids/weave and it'll last you six months and will work a million times better than that oil you desperately put on your scalp, trying to relieve the itch.This is the best. thing. ever. for itchy scalp, and it works almost instantly. I wish this stuff had existed 25 years ago when I first started braiding my hair, but better late than never.

I expected this to apply more like a leave in conditioner but it honestly felt a lot like a vinegar rinse. I get a lot of allergies when it comes to hair products and especially after dying my hair it's usually left feeling irritated and dry. I sectioned my hair out in about six parts and sprayed about six inches away from my scalp and massaged in with my fingers on damp hair.It didn't really have any sensation but I did notice when my hair dried it felt a bit sticky. This isn't something I could see myself going back to anytime soon.
