The book was really nice and I really liked the pictures. But it was really hard for me to read. I like how it was about space and different stars and planets...reviewed by my 7 year old granddaughter

Small in size, perfect for carrying around, colorful, fun to read and quite honestly I want sit and read it all!! Tons of bright photos etc ... I'm tickled pink with this gift for my 8 year old!!

This is a good first book for the little sky-watcher in your life. The pages are very eye-catching to hold their attention, with lots of good scientific information to nurture their interest in the night sky. Many of the observations, like constellations, can be made with the naked eye. But some of the sights would require a telescope, just FYI. Overall, a great way to get into stargazing with your kids! Science is fun and cool, and the scientific adventure doesn't have to be taught just at school. You can learn alongside your kids and make memories with them at the same time!

I thought it would have been bigger. The size surprised me but it's serving it purpose.

Got this book for my grandson on his ninth birthday with a telescope.. the book got him so excited to see the night sky.

The layout was well done. This was a gift for my granddaughter (and grandson because they will share). The family had recently purchased a telescope and I wanted the grandkids to have a source for directing their night sky explorations. My granddaughter is 8 and could handle most of the information herself. Her 13 year old brother would jump in with anything that was too difficult. She is reading and comprehending at above her second grade level. If this was not the case and brother wasn’t there to help, I’d recommend at least a third grade level.
