Does the job well

I used this to run a ceiling mounted webcam at a large meeting room at a hotel. I ran it off 100 ft of cat 6. It worked beautifully, true plug and play. The beauty of this setup is you only need to power it on the TX side, meaning I didn't have to try to find power at the camera location which made things much easier. I've used several J-tech products before and they have always worked well.

Theatrical FOH Audio Interface to QLab Computer

This unit is reliably driving my audio ADA USB data over dedicated Cat6A to my primary Audio/Projections computer running QLab for a live theatrical production. no drops, minimal latency issue in mic switching that i found an acceptable work-around for.

Rock solid performance

I removed intermittent extenders and replaced with this model and it worked perfectly.

Great usb extension option

This stuff works. I’ve managed to extend my usb connection across a large room with no trouble at all. Recommended.

Very handy if you have computer-connected USB devices

I honestly did not realize that a USB extender was a thing. But, I guess there is a demand for just about any type of gadget out there. I'm using this for something really silly, but it actually works. When I started teleworking, I put a second camera on my desktop computer and pointed it out the wind. In video calls, I'd switch to that camera. (I do have a nice view of Pike's Peak out my office window.) I'm certain my coworkers enjoy *that* more than watching *me*. It proved popular, so I would focus it on my yard or deck when my dogs were playing. With this USB extender, I ran a long CAT 5e to the front of my house and hooked the camera to it. (Deer camera, I call it.)Anyway, it was very easy to set up. I plugged a USB cable from my computer in to the transmitter (it uses a USB Type-B connector), plugged in the power, and then connected a long CAT 5e cable to it. On the other end, same thing except I plugged the camera in to the USB Type-A connector on the other side and plugged in the power and CAT 5e cable. I expected reboots and fighting with the computer, but my Windows 10 desktop computer immediately recognized the camera. The receiver device actually allows for two USB Type-A devices. The maximum distance of the CAT 5e extension cable is 328 feet (100 meters) and it supports USB 2.0 devices. It worked great! I realize my use case is pretty simple, but this works as advertised.
