This brush is made from maple burl wood, inlaid with blue lapis and knotted with super silvertip badger hair. Super Silvertip is the softest and most luxurious grade of hair available. It is perfect for gentlemen with more sensitive skin, who still need exfoliation but are prone to irritation from coarser brushes. We work with suppliers local to us here in Washington and Oregon to source our wood. The American Maple Burl used in this razor was sourced right here in the Pacific Northwest! Our products are finished with urethane, a highly durable finish that cannot be penetrated by water. **All of our products are made with stabilized wood. Wood that is not stabilized will fall apart over time when exposed to water. We take the extra time to stabilize every piece of wood we use, ensuring a quality product.
