Your Transformers do not fit outside electrical outlets
The only reason I gave this a three star is not about the camera, the camera itself is awesome and deserves a 5 star rating. The three stars are for the transformer that plugs sideways in an outdoor protected electrical box, see pictures. The white colored one is the one that comes with the camera and cannot be plugged into an outdoor double gange box. I am fortunate that I had an old one from an outdoor camera I replaced with this one that was the same 12 volt 1 amp transformer and it worked, see the black colored one that is plugged in, see picture. NEXIA, please fix this problem so other folks do not run into the same issue, on the indoor ones it is no big deal, but outdoors it is. Love my Nexia system, I have had mine for over 7 years now with flawless operation and great customer service answering any question I have.

Good detail but....
Nice looking camera, has a good picture but horrible with wifi. We have two of these one is near our garage door which is about 75' from router. The second one is on our back sliding glass door about 20' from router. When the work they have a great picture but 90% of the time they don't load. When they do load for a few seconds it's great and then it starts buffering and has about a 20 second delay. Brought them in and reconnected them to hard wired and made sure they were all up to date and they were. While connected to router through a cable they are amazing. Put them back and once again horrible reception on both.Oh well guess I'll run a wire to them.

Forget em
Frankly I don't know why I bother with these camera's cause they really do just plain ole suck, most of the Nexia stuff is good and sometimes really good, but these camera's just aren't any good at all. They Work They Don't Work They're on Line They're Off Line The NEW HD camera's spend way to much time buffering, if you wanted to see something because you got a notification forget it, whatever will be long gone by time the Video finally starts.Long and short of it, buy a dedicated security camera system, rather than having crappy camera's eating into you network run the wires and forget about these things, power over Ethernet/Coax and one wire and done.

Only lasted one year!
At first I was extremely pleased with these cameras! After 12 months of use I had two of my four cameras start having problems. One camera appeared to have lost all color, see attached picture, and the other cameras microphone stopped working. I contacted nexia support in hopes to resolve these issues. Long story short, the only option I had was to factory reset or purchase new cameras. After performing a factory reset the problems still persisted. Now I am very displeased that nearly $400 worth of cameras barely lasted 1 year. I am even more displeased that nexia did very little to support a long-term customer. I understand the warranty period but obviously the quality of these cameras do not equal to price tag. Not even a discounted price for replacement cameras was offered. Please be aware and buy at your own risk.

Real temperamental…
I have had 2 of these in my garage for over a year. Like a few other reviewers have posted mine have been VERY temperamental. They are great when they are online and working which turns out to be 70% of the time. Most of the time the need to be unplugged and re-plugged in to get them working again. Now the have just stopped displaying any video at all. Nothing but dark screen on both camera’s. I will be replacing these with another brand and would not recommend these.

Excellent picture and so easy to set up! Works great.
Excellent picture and so easy to set up! Works great. I love the ability to link the camera to other Nexia devices for automation triggers. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because you cannot adjust the motion detector sensitivity - which would be very helpful. Otherwise I am very impressed. I am a serious and home tech user with high expectations for quality and user interface simplicity and intuitive controls.

Needs further improvement
The good:1. I haven't had any wi-fi issues. The camera is about 25-feet from the router and passes through one interior and one exterior wall.2. The video is "OK" but not great.3. This newest version does have audio capability.4. The PC GUI is pretty user friendly. The Android GUI is a little confusing finding controls, but useable. The bad:1. For some inexplicable reason, motion triggered videos only last a maximum 1 minute then there is a minimum 2 minute delay until it can be triggered again.2. Live viewing only lasts 4 minutes making it useless as a monitoring tool.3. Motion sensor has roughly a 20' range when set to maximum sensitivity. Someone has to be right up on the camera to trigger it.4. Night vision is relatively poor by todays standards, and only has a useful ~20ft range.5. When night vision is activated, there are two red LEDs that look like bat eyes lit up. Nothing like letting the bad guy know where the camera is. This may be a privacy/liability issue. I suppose they are easily covered up.6. The plug/transformer is rather large and will cover both plugs of a standard outlet. It needs a weather cover if plugged in outdoors as well.Overall, there are better options out there that don't require a subscription to record video, though $1.99/mo is pretty cheap to keep 17Gb of video. (each 1 minute clip is approximately 5.7Mb)

Camera stops working
Over the past 2 years I've slowly add Nexia cameras to my house. This is my 5th one. But, on this 5th one, I've had to return it 3 TIMES!! First one never stayed connected, the second never connected at all, and the 3rd just stopped storing motion detected videos 2 days ago.Are these different firmware versions in the camera? They are garbage now. The other four I've installed are running fine and have been for a couple of years now.
