Tattle Tea Black Tea, Ceylon, 2 Pound

We drink lots of tea. My husband loves it cold with lemon. My mom an I drink it hot and freshly brewed. This tea has medium sized leaves, good flavor and color. In our culture, we brew the same batch of tea a couple of times before discarding it. This one holds only 2 brews unlike other higher quality teas that hold ( keep the color and the flavor) 3-4 brews. Still a very good tea. I recommend it for anyone that drinks tea in a daily basis as it’s a good price and quality for the price. Keep in mind it’s a big bag and if you don’t drink tea frequently it will last you more than what one would like.

I love tea, and drink copious amounts of it every day. This Ceylon variety is actually very good. The smell is nice and the taste is bright, but strong, definitely not weak (3 teaspoons for a small Hario teapot). I have tried two other Tattle varieties, Earl Grey and English Breakfast, and I like this Ceylon much better than the latter.Two things I did not like. A few reviews mentioned that the tea came in full leaves, which I definitely did not believe at this price point, and it definitely did not. It is loose tea, but they are crumbled pieces of leaves. Which is fine.The other thing is that California warning label on the package. It probably does not mean much, but it's still unpleasant.

Tea is my morning ritual. The morning breeze, sunrise by my deck, birds chirping good morning everybody, and a cup of wonderful lightly boiled water+tea leaves+sugar+milk is bliss. I have tried several brands Amazon sells. Tattle tea works fine. It has the complexity, yet is milder on caffeine (thanks to Ceylon soil), yet aromatic and robust for me to say, "hello world" back to the chirping birds silently with a smile. My family likes it, as do visitors - they all expect me to brew-boil the tea for them. Tattle tea every morning, it is. Fairly price. Tattle tea will remain in my subscribe-list, if Tattle+Amazon maintains the quality and fair price.

You should not expect particularly good tea at this price. This Ceylon does not have any gloriously complex perfume to it, no intricate subtleties. What it *does* have is a perfectly drinkable, balanced flavor with an acceptable level of astringency, and nice, large leaves. If you're buying in two-pound packages, I'm sure you're addicted to your morning tea just as I am. This Ceylon will do a delightful job of getting you through the morning, but is affordable enough to make a habit of.

Excellent tea! I started looking for a replacement for a tea had been purchasing for literally decades, and chanced upon Tattle Teas. I first purchased the Orange Pekoe (another excellent tea), then starting buying others listed. So far, all Tattle Teas that I have bought have been outstanding! Thank you!

Don't waste your money. NASTY TASTING! I tried it 3 different times, and steeped it according to package recommendations. I had to pour it out. I wasted a lot of money. Throwing it away!!

Very pleased. A 2-lb bag lasts a long time. I use this tea to cold-brew pitchers of iced tea and am very happy with the results.

The flavor is not strong If you wanna do a Hongkong-style milk tea, but quality is high and taste is decent with this good comparable price.
