Can’t Travel, so….
We aren’t traveling much these days and I used to pick up home & garden and lifestyle magazines in every country I visited in a year. I missed them: so for much less than the price of a plane ticket, I ordered subscriptions to several like magazines before Christmas. Now I can check in on trends in the UK, France, Germany and Japan. Saves my sanity and provides ideas and recipes to keep me entertained. Worth ever penny.

Double billing!
Ordered through Amazon, then when it was time to renew I was auto charged by Amazon and billed by magazine. Amazon corrected without issue, and I discontinued the magazine. When alerting the actual magazine by telephone about the double billing issue, the fellow was impatient and rude. I did, however, continue the "Discover Britain" magazine which I prefer.

It's a keeper
I received the Christmas issue a month ago and it's so good and inspiring that I'm going to keep it. I am looking forward to the other issues!

A favorite 'zine.
I love the easy subscribe offered through Amazon. Secure, no fuss, and always dependable. I love the 'zine itself. Living in south Florida, I look for ways to visually "cool" my house. Tons of decorating ideas that easily translate to my very eclectic style. Travel to Great Britain without the passport and airfare!

authentic
I have really enjoyed my subscription to this beautiful magazine. NO DRUG ads.....have you noticed that most of our home grown "home" rags are just crammed with multi-paged pharmaceutical advertisements? Are these especially targeted to women? Country Living is a thin read indeed if you tear out all these ads.Anyway, this gorgeous British home magazine always has at least one piece about a significant historical property..... but also, each issue has a fascinating story about another, less "significant" property that has been remade over many years and a lot of hard work and imagination into a family home! The photography is charming.....the pages high quality paper and I will continue to subscribe, foregoing all the American counterparts as their subs end.
