Great shelving at a great price!
This shelving unit was very easy to assemble, although it was good to have a second person to handle the pieces while putting it together. No screws, just snaps into place. While the wire shelves are not as rigid as some, they seem quite strong. I have file boxes filled with papers on two of the shelves, and you know how heavy paper can be. The shelves handle it fine. I did not use the wheels, as they were plastic and seemed a bit flimsy, and besides, I do not plan to move the shelving around. The one thing I thought might be a problem was the space between the wires, which seemed large enough that small items might fall through. So I used the box the shelves came in, and another large box, and cut pieces from them to fit inside the shelves, then covered the box pieces top and bottom with contact paper. This helps distribute the weight, makes it easier to slides my storage boxes around, keeps small things from falling through, and it looks pretty (I used a marbled contact paper). The shelving makes a great storage piece for my office!

Crappy wheels, will NOT hold the stated weight.
The rack is fine. I assembled it, & loaded it. When I went to move it, the casters disintegrated. I hade maybe 400# on the rack. It states it can hold up to 1250# total.I replaced the casters with metal casters. Oddly, I found the same casters as the original.. It was a 5 pack. The weight rating was the same. They're office chair casters. There's no way they can hold that amount of weight. There's no point returning this seeing as it's assembled and I repaired it. I just wouldn't purchase this again if I were expecting it to be mobile.

Good Medium Weight Rolling Shelves
I am a fan of the chrome rack shelves like this. I have a dozen of the large 72" ones in my garage and they are fantastic. So, I am very used to putting these together. This particular rack is small compared to those, and it is definitely more lightweight. For my purposes, I needed a rack to store my craft tools and machines on, so this was fine. I wasn't going to be putting heavy bulky items on it like gallons of water, and it's on a carpeted floor which normally makes rolling anything a little more difficult. The wheels are plastic casters, which are fine for having the rack be mobile and moving a short distance, so I can move it under my desk or vacuum under it. The shelf is made of a thinner gauge wire than the big garage ones, so you have to take that into consideration of what you're going to store on it. My tools and machines weigh 5 to 15 lbs each, and these are just fine on the rack. My craft area is limited and this rack is a lifesaver for a place to put my tools when I'm not using them and freeing up workspace. The 22" height fits perfectly under my desk so things are accessible, but out of my way. Before this, I was constantly playing Checkers, moving stuff from place to place on chairs or on top of other things, and stuff was getting lost or buried. This rack really helps with the organization and it is plenty sturdy for the size and cost! I have no twisting or swaying on this rack. When you assemble this, use a rubber mallet to tap the shelf corners into place on their plastic collars. Doing this ensures a tight fit, and your shelf will be even and sturdy. Use a repeated tapping, not big hammer swings otherwise you'll either bend the shelf or scrape the finish if you're not using a rubber mallet. Tip: I found that the wires for the shelves are spaced far enough apart that the little feet on my machines and tools would fit between them and sometimes get caught. I just put silicone mats on the shelves and that solved that issue. See the photo. Overall, I would definitely buy this again if I find I need more storage!

Excellent shelving unit!
I use this shelving unit to store my finished oil paintings in one of our extra bedrooms. It is not only well made, but quite attractive. I use it in a room furnished totally with antiques and it actually looks great.

Works for me, but quality feels less than was advertised
These shelves were the perfect fit for a closet in my home. This house has absolutely no built-in storage, so I took over the closet of a spare room to store various infrequently used appliances, glassware, etc. The shelves fit in well and work great for my use. They were very easy to build by myself (normal-sized woman), and I needed no extra tools beyond what was provided. Some people might want a mallet or hammer (with something to cushion it) to tap the shelves into place. Adding in a side note as one reviewer was confused by the plastic washers: those are placed in between the shelves to make them stack for shipping. They're nothing more than packing material and can be disposed of.However, the shelving wasn't what I expected. I've used this type of shelf many times before, and these by far had the flimsiest wiring. One shelf in each box had bent wiring (like if someone had leaned a hand too hard onto it), and I was able to just grab the wires and easily straighten them. I would NEVER attempt to put 350 pounds per shelf. If it was on a sheet of plywood to guarantee 100% even distribution of weight I might consider 200, otherwise 100-150 pounds per shelf maximum (still assuming it is fairly evenly distributed weight, such as boxes of books).Additionally, a lot of the welds had very sharp points, so if you have a young child who might be running their hands along the underside of the shelf this may be a point of concern. Nothing huge and jagged, but lots of tiny, needle-sharp places where my hands were catching in the assembly process. In the end, this works really great for what I bought it for and I don't regret getting it, but sadly I will be looking elsewhere when buying shelves for the basement where I don't want things bending each time I set a heavy box on it in a hurry.**UPDATE**I bought some Amazon basics shelving units, and while they unfortunately weren't available in as large of a size as these, they fit together much easier, the black clips stayed on better, and there weren't sharp edges.

Did not like the quality
One of the shelves was bent. It's a little flimsy but I needed a shelf quickly so I'll deal with it.
