This is a good balance between the "Hard as Hull" higher build and high luster products and normal head cement. Makes a nice head on dry flies with a little, but not too much, build and luster. Very durable in the field. Only 4 stars because it is in a jar with a crappy applicator. The applicator brush holds too much product and drips. I needle applicator or no applicator at all would be better.

This is great stuff. It does what epoxy does without epoxy's fumes and need for strong ventilation. It also dries faster. No negatives.

Loon Hard Head
I use the Loon Hard Head Finish in place of epoxy. Just brush it on. A single application will dry to a thin, glossy coating. It produces a beautiful finish on a finished head.

A Must Have!
Excellent product. I use this for wing cases as well as the obvious use on heads. My fly kit is never without this product.

Loon Outdoors is the good stuff!
I have been using all things Loon Outdoors for years! The head cement is water based and can be thinned with distilled water if you don't have the thinner. I have always had good experiences with this product.
