The Magnus Method: The Singular Skills of the World’s Strongest Chess Player Uncovered and Explained
P**.
Very unusual methodology
This book leaves me wanting a lot more in the way of explanations and a lot less in the number of examples problems. Perhaps I just don't understand the author's teaching method or perhaps it just doesn't work for me. Lots of game snippets, sometimes deleting the opening moves and at other times the concluding moves. Perhaps the author expects the reader to consult an independent data base to fill in the missing moves. This book may give one some understanding of Magnus' mind, but I don't think it will make YOU a better chess player.
