What a Handy Portable Fan and LED Light
With all of the recent rumors of “pending power outages” and “rolling blackouts” it seemed wise to find a self powered fan for emergencies. The reviews for this Mobile Fan sounded very favorable, but sometimes you don’t know for sure until you have one to test for yourself. Well I’ve been pleasantly surprised with this little fan after using it for about 10 days now. I ran an initial test for 5 hours in the lowest speed position to see for myself if it would run that long on a single charge, and it did and still had more charge on the battery remaining. It is lightweight (maybe 2 pounds), tilt position adjustable, variable speed, and has a built in LED light as well with 3 levels of brightness. So far I’ve only used it indoors. With the recent high temperatures outside in June here in the south, it has been a welcomed relief to sit next to when I come in to cool down. The fact that it is rechargeable and can also be powered from an external battery, that it creates a nice little breeze, and has a built in light makes it a winning combination for me. The only con I’ve found so far was one time the blue LED’s that show the battery charge level unexpectedly stopped lighting up for a few minutes. The lights were only out for a few minutes, and it only happened once. This did not affect the operation of the unit.I think if my electricity unexpectedly cuts off in the summer months I’ll be real glad to have this little fan/light combo unit to use. I’m sure it would come in handy for tent camping as well. Recommend

Love, love, love this powerful little fan!
I love everything about this little fan!I was hesitant at first to spend the amount of money for this fan; but, after seeing how well it works, I know I will get many years of use from it and more than get my money's worth. With the 3 speeds it offers, it really puts out a nice flow of air. Although, I am usually able to get plenty of airflow from the low setting; and it is hardly ever necessary to use a higher speed, which also helps my battery last longer. The fan is quiet and lasts for days on a full charge, which takes several hours to charge. I like the fact I can see how much charge the fan has left when I'm using it; and like the handy light feature as well.I was very surprised at how lightweight the fan is, given the power it has; and, like the handy indentions it has for carrying it everywhere.I'm so glad I made this purchase and highly recommend it!

Light weight and Portable
This fan is completely plasitc, feels inexpensive, but I think it's perfect for what I need it for. I will be using it as a kennel fan for when my dogs are in their kennels when we are driving somewhere. I've been using a portable fan that takes 8 D batteries, so I'm thrilled with this one. It's base is study and I expect it will stay upright and do it's job. That it has a light is a bonus. It plugs in using a USB port, so you can buy long USB cables and I will be able to plug it in while traveling. Perfect for my needs, just understand it's plastic.

Solid. Not the best, but very good.
I apparently purchased this more than two years ago, and I've used it daily (often for 12+ hours!) every single day. It's still pretty much as good as it was when I got it, though the battery runs out a little faster now which is normal and expected. I use a portable cell phone charger to extend the life. It is as quiet and powerful as advertised. I recently tried to upgrade to a fan that supposedly has double the battery life. I I'd only charged it full a few hours earlier. This little guy is so solid and reliable that I took it for granted that the upgrade would be even better, but it was awful. My only real complaint (I don't count the battery as a complaint really since I'm so hard on it) is that it's extremely bulky and lacks a proper handle. I use it mainly for sitting outside in the Central Florida summers and working on my computer. It wasn't a huge issue when I was walking from my condo onto the patio, but I'm currently living in a hotel now and it's a massive pain to try to shove it into my tote with my MacBook and trackball mouse and other odds and ends. I wouldn't mind the size if it weren't just so bulky and awkwardly shaped. Bits of it stick out more than others on both sides. It wouldn't be too bad to pack in a suitcase full of clothes, but it makes me nervous packing it with my fragile MacBook Air with just some padding in between. And it doesn't ever wand to go fully inside the tote, so it sticks out about a third of the way and digs into my underarm and the side of my torso. That's the only reason I'm getting another one. I'll probably keep it and continue using it, especially once I have my own patio again. It's a great little fan. You could definitely do better, but not easily. If they re-released this in a flatter or slimmer version or a version that could detach the fan part from the base, I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Small but effective.
Used two of these fans during our mostrecent power outage of nine hours and both performed well. Long battery life.

Battery life is AWESOME!
I use this jury-rigged hanging in front of my dog's crate. I recently used it on two 17 hour drives (to and from my destination) and it literally lasted until the very end of both drives without being charged. One caveat is that I had the fan set about halfway for speed, so that probably helped conserve the power, but that's still pretty damn good as far as I'm concerned! It was coupled with A/C since the crate was in the cabin of my SUV. I keep a hygrometer in the crate to aid in temperature monitoring and the fan coupled with the A/C really made a difference. The fan made all that difference. I highly recommend it for that use case. Please note, you will most likely have to jury-rig it to hang on a Ruffland crate like mine or any other crate except a wire crate because the built-in thick plastic hook is really intended to hang from a line in a tent. You can also sit it on the ground as it sits really flat and nice even though the hook folds up to the base.
