Great lights!
**Photos: Keep in mind, ALL of the light is from the lights in the balloons. ALSO, not all of the balloons have lights in them. It's fairly apparent which ones do and don't.**Some people have reported lights not working, or fading quickly, etc. And it's true, chiz does happen. But my experience has been wonderful!Of the 100 pieces, only about three had issues. One of them didn't work, and the other two had bad connections, but with finangling I did get them to work. They were all still quite bright after 24 hours. Some a bit more, some a bit less, but only a handful, maybe five or six, were dim enough to not be worth keeping. I pulled them all out of the balloons and put the little separators back in and tossed them in the freezer, so we'll see what kind of shelf life they might have in the future. I'll update if/when I use them again. On a side note, I kept one of the dimmest, but still working lights on. I used them on the 14th, it's the 27th, and the light is still a-goin. Granted, not bright at all. Hardly more than a pinprick, but that it's still on is something. (this guy ended up lasting for about 6 weeks! Albeit getting dimmer, but still!)The only con?Maybe a quarter or so of them didn't have completely smooth shells. So if I got the balloon too big, it did have a higher pop risk. I figured it out pretty quick. Got hold of my handy-dandy finger nail clippers, and just ran my fingers over the outside and snipped off any prickly bits. It wasn't much work. Still totally worth the effort.

Worth it!
Worth it!! Used these lights as an extra fun element for my daughter's wedding on 4/29/17. Read the reviews. Planned a balloon release if it didn't storm. God is good, and the storm held off . It was so memorable- young and old really enjoyed. Used 10 inch pearl white balloons for guests and large 30" balloons for Bride and Groom. One light in small ones and 3 in large ones, all helium filled that morning about 10-12am . Sprayed the balloons with hair spray after lights placed in them inflated, and ribbon tied on. Out of 100 lights only 2 did not work. These lights are brighter than I thought. The balloons were released just before the storm about 9:15pm. Only 3 deflated and would not fly, so they were kicked around on the dance floor- great fun. Also took the advise of another comment, and placed a few around tables, cake table, Bride and Grooms table, Buffet tables, that little extra sparkle was fabulous. During the storm lights went out - well these little lights became toys- tossed around the hall, made for great fun during what might have been as scary time. BEST of all and amazing- I held on to two of these - they are still ON, this is 14 days later!!! ( dim but still on ). Love them - will definitely buy again, for other evening parties.

Great for decoration, not so great for general lighting
My wife got these for a backyard party for our son. The lights are round and drop into balloons (not included in the package). Each one is as bright as a mini-flashlight, so they'll put out quite a bit of light. Drop one or more in a balloon and blow it up. Tie it off, and you're done. Easy. However, the light is exactly one half of each spherical light. The battery is in the bottom, so the light shines up into the balloon. Add one to a balloon and you have a small lantern. In my opinion, thicker, more translucent balloons work better then transparent balloons, if you want bright objects as markers. The transparent balloons work better for light, but they're not very bright. They're great as decoration, not so great as the sole source of light. One funny thing to be aware of: since the lights are round, bumping the balloons (or a slight breeze) makes the light roll around inside. This is fun at first, but it can make for a flickery, distracting annoyance, after a bit. Also, the batteries last quite a while, so save the tabs, and you can re-insert them and use the lights again (probably quite a few times).

These are some of the best little lights money can buy
These are some of the best little lights money can buy! I know it may be far fetched but in doing the work I do with event decorating these are by far the best thing ever and I am in love and so is everyone around me that got to experience them! People were so amazed that they were asking to take at least one or two of them home.Pros :~ One alone will give off the same light as two tea light candles; this little light is so bright and powerful and lasted for hours! And even once the party was over I re-inserted the little tab (I recommend saving them) to save them to use again and it worked, so again - Super Excited and for the price you cannot beat the quantity and quality.Cons :~ The only down side was that there were a few duds but with the quantity you get it really doesn't matter. :-)Not too sure how long they last (we will see) but I do know that as of now instead of using tea light candles I will be using these babies! Such an excellent product, wish I would have stumbled upon them earlier than this.

Great product
I purchased these for my daughter's wedding in June, I opened the package and started one light to determine how long it would stay lit. It's super bright and durable - I took it out into the darkest part of the yard and it was super bright. I tossed it away from me a few different times, it stayed lit and intact. I brought it back inside, and now 24 hours later it is still.shing brightly. I noticed it was missing from the spot where it was sitting, only to determine that my rottie had taken the light and was chewing on it, it was broken into pieces and still going strong! I love these lights!! :-)
