1) The fine comb could stand to be a bit wider
This thing really works well on my brown Lab. I've only used it a few times, since I just received it a couple weeks ago, and the only reason I don't give 5 stars is 2 very minor gripes:1) The fine comb could stand to be a bit wider, to cover more area. But I understand it's made to work on all sizes of furry pets, so it ends up being a tad small for big dogs, and a bit large for little kittens or what have you. No big deal.2) No instructions. I know, it's just a brush! But somewhere I thought I read that you're always supposed to use one side (presumably the course side) before using the fine side, though maybe it doesn't matter. I'm sure with a little more use I'll figure it out.Very well made and comfortable to use, looks like it will last a long time.

Excellent design and quality
Did a wonderful job from the first time I used it. The goldens hair became very soft, even on his head with the use of the small comb, and the excess hair was easy to remove with the long tooth comb too. The dogs hair also started to smell better, less of a doggy smell. I would recommend this product to family and friends. Very good quality, so it's worth the price!

Simply the best "deshedder" doggy comb ever
Simply the best "deshedder" doggy comb ever! Smoothly glides through my English Springer Spaniel's luxurious coat, almost stops automatically at mats and tangle, and the rake does away with those. Love the swivel head, and doggy does not complain during the process. Am thinking of getting rid of the vacuum cleaner! Thanks for producing the "real deal" -- a product that works as described.

Works when others have failed.
My cat Charlotte has such thick hair that when she sheds the hair clumps rather than shedding off. I have tried so many other products with no success. This deshedding comb works perfectly plus Charlotte enjoys it.

Great for lessening shedding! Easy to use!
We have three dogs who are not fond of being brushed. They don't mind this brush and it does an amazing job of removing excess hair. Their coats are much smoother and a lot less shedding around the house!!Highly recommend the s for anyone with dogs!

I have a 17 year old long hair cat who tends to get mats. He hates being brushed this he doesn't mind I think because of the wide tooth comb. It works pretty well it gets a lot of the hair off.

The comb works great and helped remove the undercoat on my golden retriever
The comb works great and helped remove the undercoat on my golden retriever. The cushioned handle cover became loose from too much pulling but I was able to hot glue it back on. My dog had extreme matting in a couple areas.
