Buyers Products 1707020 Hitch-Mounted Poly Cargo Carrier , Black

This cargo box is amazing. It holds plenty of cargo. We had five adults luggage for a 5 day trip with plenty of room to spare. Additionally, it secures to the hitch seamlessly and makes absolutely zero noise. Love this product!!

Not packaged well. Cardboard to thin for carrier box weight. Cargo carrier hitch Box made of thick plastic but top was scratched and 2 dents in top from shipping. Cardboard box was damaged, torn with holes and I would send back but of course I made a last minus order and I just don’t have time to return and possibly not get a replacement in time for trip. Also the pre drilled holes in the carrier box were not inline with holes in the steel frame when we were going to attach as instructions stated. Not very pleased with product being damaged. Wished I could get replacement but not time to mess with it!This is update after our trip to Florida. This carrier box curved up on outside corners and we had to really press down to latch it back each time. Not very heat resistant to say the least. It even had damage at the exhaust area! Also it leaked around top so we purchased some adhesive rubber gasket to place around the edges of lid to prevent leakage inside box. I would like to request at a partial refund if possible since we have used it now. Which I probably will not be granted! :( Would not recommend this one for sure. If you make another out of different heat resistant plastic materials I would consider. Thanks

The cargo carrier is as described and was easy to install. It fit the need perfectly. Very happy with the construction and application.

Size is perfect!Quality of plastic and more importantly the way it’s designed has many areas of poor mold ejected spots where the injection molding is gouged in the corners and center near the lid opening. It’s inside so not noticeable at first especially if you setup it up inside a not so bright garage. In sunlight very obvious… actually I would have boxed it back up and shipped it back if I noticed this sooner.

This is the second Buyers Products hitch mounted poly box I have owned. I foolishly so,d the first one, thinking I would never need another one. These do not leak, they are spacious and they hold a lot of weight. I had to move my license plate and add lights to mine, using the trailer plug. It takes five minutes to move the plate and set up the lights. I also added reflective tape in four places.

Unfortunately, the 5/8-in hitch pin hole is in the wrong place and the bracket cannot be connected to vehicle. The Amazon and Buyers Products reps were both excellent. Won't be able to give an actual product usage review until my replacement bracket arrives at the end of March. I anticipate 5 stars once in use.

The corners of the lid are warping up after only a few months by at least an inch. There is no water proof seal between the lid and base. These will leak water! The latches are already starting to discolor and rust. We haven't even gotten to winter yet in Wisconsin for salt on the roads. Very disappointed in the quality given how expensive they were.
