Wonderful tool.Honestly I'm shocked by just how big of a difference this made to being able to handle and feed my yeast. It showed a visible increase in activity and oxygenation over the previous method I was using to stir and feed.

Very good addition to the kitchen! I wanted something exclusively for my sourdough starter so it didn’t pick up scents from anything else, and I needed something narrow for the starter jar. It mixes well, cleans easily as long as I don’t let it sit, and is good for reaching the corners of my Cambro container when baking. Have oiled a few times and the wood looks great.

I love this wooden spurtle for my sourdough bread making! It is the perfect size. High quality and the wood is gorgeous! I would purchase again and highly recommend.

I am starting to build out a set of quality kitchen tools. I got this because it was made by the company that made America’s Test Kitchens most nightly rated wooden spoon (which I also bought), This is much less utilitarian day-to-day. However, I have always wanted something I could use in my mason jars for gluten free sour dough starters and in my enamel Dutch oven when I am working with more tender foods, but still need to keep the sides clear. This is very cool. I am going to use it tonight to make shrimp and grits, this is the perfect tool because it won’t scratch my nice cookware!

I got this Spurtle for mixing my Sourdough Starter that I keep in a jar. It works great and I love how sturdy it is. My only complaint is that after using it several times, is that it's starting to split on the end. Over all it's a great product, and a big upgrade from the end of a wooden spoon, that I was previously using.

I didn't know if I would need this for my sourdough starter, but I am so glad I purchased it. It makes mixing my dough easier and smoother without hurting my hand like a spoon or spatula did. I just make sure to rinse it off right away and it dries perfectly and looks brand new. I've been using it for ten days and am really thankful for this purchase.

I really like using this spurtle. It really reaches the bottom of the jars and makes stirring my sourdough starter easy. It's comfortable in my hand and I will be purchasing another one to have on hand.
