Pure Care Tile and Tub Brush and Scrubber Set with Extension Pole, Telescopes from 34" to 51.5"

I was I looking for a telescopic (adjustable length) handle scrub brush to wash my shower which is ALL tile (floors, walls, etc). The shower is approximately 3x4 feet so a standard handle (non-adjustable) would be too long and prone to hitting wall behind me as I scrub the walls. The telescopic handle was great so it could be adjusted, but it did not hold its position well meaning I had to "reset" it several times (at least 5-6) while in use; a little aggravating, but the accompanying scrub pad is good & refills are available. I mainly bought this for the scrub brush which I personally felt would clean tile grout better that scrub pad, but I don't think brush refills are currently available; would be GREAT if they were, which is the main reason I bought this product. The bristle are what I would deem Medium stiffness, which I thought was perfect for scrubbing tile; I did not have to work the brush with lots of effort generated by me :-). The heads swivel VERY nicely while in use. Very light weight, overall good product for price, but I hope the company will consider making brush head replacements available.

Ok, I changed my mind. It's not just an awful handle. It's a ridiculously horrible handle. It's going down from 3 to 1 star. I gave this a second chance to clean my stand alone tub. I thought that maybe this thing did not work because I was using it upright on the top of my shower. Nope. I didn't even elongate the thing. I was trying it at it's shortest hoping to clean the tub without getting down in it. However, the handle will NOT stay still. It advertises use with corners, but every time I would out pressure on and and slightly change the direction (ya know, a corner), the handle would unlock and the head would spin. I had to hold the attachment by the head, to put any pressure on it. I still like the attachments, especially the pad, but I can get cheaper brushes or scrubbers anywhere. I've already got a few. I bought this to have a brush with a long pole handle, and this does not suffice. It is absolutely worthless. The heads have a button hole type lock, if they would have applied that same simple technology to the pole, this would have been a great tool. The twist pressure lock does not work, it just caused your brush head to turn when you need it to scrub.Original Review:I like the scrubber a lot, but it does not stay in it's extended position. I bought for scrubbing my shower ceiling, I need something that will reach so I can put pressure on the scrubber. I don't really want to be on a step ladder in the shower. I would "lock" it into place, but it would almost immediately slide back down. I had to have one hand on the low part, and another trying to keep the higher part from falling down. The attachments are fine, It would be perfect if it would stay stable.

Really wanted to love this scrubber set. The telescope pole does not lock into place, therefore I am always adjusting the pole while cleaning the walls. The poles stays in place a little better when using inside the tub area, but not when cleaning the walls. I wanted this mostly for the walls on the far side of the tub and shower area which is where the problem is with the pole extension. The pole feels a little flimsy too, kind of like the "Swifter" poles, but that would not have been a deal breaker. I thought about keeping this set because the scrubber brush and pad are excellent, and work well in the shorter/un-extended positions, but not for $23. !! I will keep hunting for a scrubber that extends and has a great brush. This could have been the answer with only a few miner changes! Just a locking mechanism would have worked. So many reviewers received this item at a discount for providing reviews, I believe they may have reviewed a little better and gave more stars because of that. Sorry folks, just a guess. Arrived quickly and packaged well.

This thing is awful. The mechanism that is supposed to lock the pole in place at the length you want doesn't work at all, so while you're cleaning the pole collapses in on itself. The part that locks the actual brush in place is kinda flimsy as well. The brush bristles are a bit too soft, so you really have to push down hard...so having to scrub hard with the pole collapsing in on itself and the flimsy plastic on the brush is a pain.I wouldnt recommend this product.

I received the Pure Care Tile and Tub Brush and Scrubber Set on the very day that the Tub and Shower needed to be clean. I have a rare bone disease and I can not bend over period. For $20.99 I got both brush and scrubber. As with the OXO it's $12.99 for just the scrubber and if you want the Brush that is an additional $8.99 which is more than I paid for the set which included both. I was impressed with it's cleaning capabilities. The adjustable metal pole did not slip at all. I never had to bend over once. I like that the heads pivot and you can lock them into different positions, which is great for those hard to reach areas. The scrubber pad is flexible, which works well in corners as well as going around your tub fixtures. It did not scratch my tub at all. Based on my overall experience with the Pure Care Tile and Tub Brush and Scrubber Set I would highly recommend this product. Good price, good value.

I struggle with back pain and have been looking for something I can use to clean my bathroom so I bought "The Pure Care Tile and Tub Brush and Scrubber Set." I used my scrubber to clean the bathroom's tub, shower wall, and floor as soon as I got it. It did a great job and I was so pleased that I ordered five individual scrubber attachments immediately to keep on hand. I really like this item and would recommend it for anyone looking to give their bathroom or kitchen a good cleaning without having to get on their hands and knees. The locking funtion for the stick could be a little better, but overall this is a great item. I like this set so much that I ordered one for my parents too.
