I was searching for some good Bluetooth adapter for my old sony home theatre from many days, but online I was able to find only crappy Chinese non branded stuffs. Many of them looked same but had different brandings and prices. I was not able to decide. Suddenly one day I discovered portronics adapter on Amazon. I purchased without seeing any review, as I have already used lots of portronics product earlier, and they have never disappointed. As usual this portronics adapter also not disappointed me and worked like a charm. Installation is quite easy. I think this is best Bluetooth adapter for 5.1 channel home theatre and audio system as there is no compromise with sound quality, although I felt there is slight drop in loudness around 10%. But it hardly matters, as my home theatre is already very loud and we are hardly able to listen it to 100% volume. Also the given voice assistance is useless. It will not work like any of your Google assistant or Alexa speaker. It just activates voice assistance on your phone, that's it. I have not tested it for voice calls because I am using it in my home theatre not in any car, so I don't need it actually. The best thing I liked about it is that it takes power from any of your available USB drives on the audio system and does need to get charged everytime. Otherwise I have tested adapters earlier with rechargeable batteries, and honestly they suck. Hardly they will play for more than 3 to 4 hours and you need to charge them again and again.I don't know about cars, but if you want to ressurect your old and dead home theatre or audio system, then this is the best and most affordable adapter you can have right now.

Perfect Device if you dont have a bluetooth connection system.Audio quality is damn good and it has a bass mode (b button) which increase bass which is very impressive.If you are looking for a wireless device then go for it you wont regret at all.Connects as soon as we start the car ( easy to connect)To connect you need to insert one line to Aux hole and other to your car charger usb port(for power supply ) and you are good to go.

Updated Review II : Still playing very well, no issue! Used with many phones like, Samsung, Apple, Mi & Realme and it is playing like a charm ! Worth for the money !Updated Review : Product failure after 49 days of delivery, speakers sounds very low like 5% if i keep it 100% volume. So, i called the customer care and they asked me to courier the product by explaining the issue on paper, courier charge Rs. 100 was on me. After receiving the product they sent me a new product in 20 days. It is working well, hoping to not get issue again.First review : Delivered yesterday and wrote a big review because the item deserve for the price. However I am going to use this product for long time, so I'll update the review if any issues in future.Very good product, sound quality good and it is above my expectations, it is easy to install, the mic quality also decent for calling, the play next and previous button works fine, plastic quality is good but not great like it will not break, any plastic items for that matters. I have my i10 2010 model, which has Pioneer infotainment system with JBL speakers. First i purchased a 150 Rs local low quality Bluetooth receiver and it was sounding rubbish. So, wanted to buy a good product and was searching seeing all the reviewes of few Bluetooth receivers for almost 10 days. Even i thought of buying a product that is above 1000 and 1500 rupees but then any Bluetooth receiver i buy the system is going to compress the audio quality from the original format and play, so by looking at many reviews in amazon and youtube i went ahead and purchased this item as the price is less and also it is form Portronics and . Well, i am a audiophile, love music, i use AKG, Harmon, Samsung Galaxy Buds, philips home theater and much more items get all good audio output items and for the price i paid this product is very good for my car and I'm already in love with the music output using my Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus phone. Also tried with an iPhone and few other mid range phones and the output is good. Without a doubt you can buy this item based on your needs from a Bluetooth receiver.

It's a very good product for cars that do not have infotainment system. Very good product. Also the sound quality is very good in both modes i.e., basic and the bass mode.

It's easy to install & use... call quality is decent & sound is stereo, good hands-free experience for this price.Note : There is no warranty on this product as company claims it under warranty , as you won’t be able to register warranty online the site doesn’t open .there is a say Chala toh Chand Tak nahi toh Shaam tak.

Happy with the sound quality though it can be better as volume is low. I used it on an older onkyo system. I wish portronics all the best with getting better products to india though prefer they start making in india.

Good enough... gets the job done. Easy to install and it works well for that price.
