UltraPro T/T2 Lens Mount Adapter for Nikon SLR Mount. Fits Select Nikon SLR Digital Cameras.

I got this T-ring because I got a lens adapter for a telescope as a poor man's way of getting to astrophotography. I usually take landscape photos but, due to a friend, I got into astrophotography and before investing into a true camera for that, I wanted to start of slow. I got a lens adapter for my telescope and it needed this to be able to fit and use. This has worked great and it attaches to my camera and adapter very easily. The process of installation was quick and simple. I recommend this to all.

The adage "you get what you pay for" is true for this excellent adapter. It's a bit more expensive than the lowest price models, but is built way better. I bought one from another supplier to attach a Rokinon 800mm mirror T-mount lens.The cheap T adapter I initially bought attached to the lens okay but it didn't attach to the Nikon tightly. The little slot the Nikon's index pin dropped into was machined just a few thousandths too wide. This allowed the lens to shift noticeably when twisting the focus ring. Very annoying.This UltraPro fits the Nikon body perfectly. It's machined more accurately. Very pleased.One thing about these mounts however is that regular "old" Nikon rear lens caps do not chinch down tightly. The cap can come off easily. The new model LF-4 cap has a slight lip on it that makes the cap a few millimeters larger diameter and causes it to fit tightly.

Got this to mount my Nikon dslr to a telescope with 1.25 inch eyepiece. The eyepiece holder hasn't arrived yet, but the fitment of this ring to the camera is really good. Not quite as smooth as the Nikor lenses as it turns on and locks in, but it is perfectly snug and secure once in place. Has an alignment dot that makes attaching to the camera easy. I assume the fine thread will be of similar quality and fit and will update this if I find otherwise. Great value.

Unfortunately not the part I needed but it was my mistake for ordering the wrong thing. I was able to track my package the entire time and Fanta Sales followed up with an email to ensure I was satisfied with the adapter and the service. I emailed them to let them know it wasn't the right part and they were fantastic. Advised me how I could return it and get a refund, no questions asked. I think I am going to keep the adapter anyways. The metal construction is fantastic in that it withstands the weight of a larger lens whereas the plastic ones just don't hold up to the weight. This adapter allows me to purchase older lens and use them with my DSLR (although you can only use them on the manual setting), but some of the older lens are a better product than the lens made today and less expensive. I don't think they make an adapter for what I need. I need an adapter which will adapt an auto zoom lens from another manufacturer to a Nikon D3000 DSLR without forcing me to use manual setting. If anyone knows of an adapter that can do this, I would love to hear from you. By the time you are done figuring out the settings on manual, the photo opportunity is already gone.

I ordered the UltraProT/T2 Lens Mount to see if an old 500 mm lens from my Minolta system would work with my new Nikon D750. It works great! There is no autofocus, and autoexposure only works with aperture priority, but it fits beautifully. After removing the old t-mount, the new mount attached in minutes. I've just ordered another to try on a second odd thing - a microscope adapter. This is a good product with speedy shipping.

It fits just doesn't register. Says the lens is not attached :(

I have owned several of these type adaptors over the years for use in both my professional photo business as well as for adaptors for astrophotography. I recently bought two of these and these are definitely the best I have owned...nice tight with minimal slop, good construction and no issues. Highly recommended. I use them with my Nikon D-800 camera.

This T-ring works great on our NIkon D3100 and D3200. Both cameras mount snugly onto the T-Adapter I bought separately. Remember, if your intention is to use this T-ring with your DSLR for astrophotography, you will need a T-adapter before you can mount it onto a telescope. T T-adapter I purchased separately fit this T-ring perfectly too. This was a great purchase at a great price. I would recommend this to friends and family.

Product was as advertised and converted the 500mm Mirror T-Mount PENTAX lens to a T-Mount Nikon. And it worked. just screw off the old and srew on the new.
