This mini clock insert uses a 377a battery.

Q: What size forshner bit is to be used, instructions say 32.5mm after ring is used it is increased to 35mm? What does this mean here in the usa?

32.5 mm is equivalent to 1.28 inches. 35 mm is equivalent to 1.36 inches. This is shown in image 3.

Q: Nice looking inssert, but the iiii is not 4 in roman numeraal also the 4-5-6-7 are all facing the wrong direction, are these made in china?

I don't see any info on where this is made, but guessing from the paper direction sheet that came with it I'd say China. Many, many clock faces now use the IIII rather than the IV for 4. As for the direction the numerals are facing, they all face towards the center of the clock, so it really isn't an issue reading the time. Most of us use the position of the hands as we glance at it to read the time. If you order, be as accurate as possible with your measurements. Mine came with a tight rubber around the works so it would fit into the opening in my wooden case. It was very hard to slide in, but is secure once done.

The mounting diameter with the gasket ring is 35mm. Without the gasket ring the mounting diameter is reduced to 32.5 mm
