Flash: The Rebirth Deluxe Edition

When did people stop reading comics because they enjoyed living vicariously through these characters? Who the hell wants to be this self loathing jackass? I can't believe I waited 23 years for Berry Allen to return just to watch some sad sack blame himself for EVERYTHING no matter how much a direct result of other people's actions the outcome actually is. He's like a one man Twitter, brutally tearing himself down over every single misstep. I assume the intention is to portray a hero who feels he should be fast enough to out think mistakes before they happen. Just looks like he's absolving people for the responsibility for their own actions to me. Hard pass.
