Very useful and what you get is a better than the open home recording . Don’t expect it do a sound proof job. The environment sound will there . It just make the sound recording less muddy

Firstly, this isn't soundproofing, it's absorption. That means you'll still hear outside noises but it'll reduce room reflections around the mic (except the front). You'll still hear room refections so mic placement and room treatment is still important.Products like this help record nicer room reflections which are easier to edit / de-noise. Paired with a condenser quality dynamic microphone and it's a very viable combo in rooms with 0.5-2 seconds reflections.This is a great solution in untreated rooms as a last resort because it's so portable - something is better than nothing.It would have been nice to see something on the front like a big removable pop screen or fabric over head just to reduce the front reflections as well.Tip - add a double quilt or moving blanket over a mic stand behind you whilst recording.

The recording when done with the mike inside the booth box, actually echoes...Not happy
