Dynamite product, but they skimp on the material. I paid the same price for this kind of fiberglass tape from other companies and got twice the product length and a wider tape..

Hardened like steel well very hard rugged plaster! Very sticky kinda hard to work with in tight places plus I had to rewet several times because the water does not soak to the core areas as per the instructions would have yo7 believe. It will have much better adhesion if is wet and activated.

i followed the directions, but the tape does not stick to itself when wrapped and hose still leaks

Although I carefully studied the instructions in advance and worked quickly (less than 5 minutes), the middle part of the roll had already hardened before I could get to it. Even with two layers of cotton and plastic gloves, I could feel the high temperature from the middle all the way to the core of the roll. Evidently, there was chemical reaction going on there. The room temperature is not a factor as it is winter here and the thermostat is set at 20 degrees C. Now I have to remove several feet of this tape that I applied. What a mess.

You should use those throw away glove with this produce for better dexterity. I was in an awkward position and I applied the product as best I could. The coating was very tacky, sticky. I must have not gotten a tight seal as water came dribbling out the end of the wrap.It cured to a rock hard texture. I don't think I could just unravel it, probably will take a cutting wheel.
